Avengers: Endgame

Call me a LASTMAn and you won't be too wrong. I had to take my time before taking a look at this to refresh my memory from various unavoidable spoilers.
This is a worthy end to a great franchise like the Avengers and, an enticing introduction to future projects. This is a flick with the right amount of everything: emotion, action, hope, disappointment, defeat, victory, redemption, etc. Above all, the systematic passage of baton among the characters is superb. Definitely a delight to the eyes

Behind the scene of Nigeria's first military themed movie titled “Eagle Wings, the Nigerian Air Force story”. It will be one of the most expensive movie ever made in Nigeria.

Hmm, I like what's cooking. I've been waiting for something like this from Nollywood since forever but no hope. I always wondered how no one saw beautifully themed perfect storyline(s) in the Counter Insurgency War.

Who's the producer? Studio? Director? Filmmaker? Almost Anything from EbonyLife's Mo Abudu or Emem Isong is top grade.

Seems those are NAF QRF (Quick Response Force) units. I'm liking this.
I approve big time. Enough of all those shitty recycled story every then and now.

Decent enough movie overall, plot was good, cast was good, especially the main babe, she was all manner of pretty ✔️

Chris also did well in his Villain role, never suspected he was the culprit... Overall it was a good watch, sad about the old man though, ultimately the dude just killed himself for nothing...

Only thing I would say I did not really enjoy was Daniel Craig's role, his whole accent stuff was just weird... Dude was just not it at all...

Notebook {Bollywood}

A typical love story told in the common bollywood style with a reasonable length of runtime. Sizeable cast with commendable performance. The high for me in this remains how the musicals were intertwined with the movie without disturbing the flow of the story. Subtle messages were also passed with enough dose of comedy.

I support equality of the sexes & i equally love women, but this right here was nothing short of a feminist propaganda in a very inferior/lame approach. In light of female empowerment, they should have done something in the likes of Wonder Woman.

The all women are good & victims of circumstance, while all men are horrible, evil, jerks, opportunist, betrayals, who'd rat you out for a pot of portage, spans throughout the entire movie.

Plot was weak as a result of the lacklustre script & acting was mediocre.The fight scenes were good to some extent & It had some good laughs here and there, asides that, it had nothing else to offer, no wonder it bombed at the box office.

The Way Back (2020)



Felt like two movies in one. Builds itself up as a sports movie, but ignores virtually everything relating to sports afterwards, to dwell on alcoholism. Great character study in a plethora of ways, but I feel like many people going into this expecting a feel good recovery story, are going to be a little disappointed.

Having said that, The portrayal of alcoholism was precise, and had absolutely no glamorization. Ben Affleck was great, gave one heck of a slam dunk performance, and did most of the heavy lifting.

Overall, it's a very grounded story that is not about redemption, but coming to terms with one's own shortcomings.
