Scott is an incompetent leader, I can never follow such a character into battle. If this is a standard military outfit, he will definitely be facing court martial.


There are some combats rules which must be adhered to religiously.

You don't let personal feelings and emotions get in the way of the mission and the most important rule of combat is that the soldier standing next to you must have the same objectives as you do, no margin for stray missions.

You don't let personal feelings and emotions get in the way of the mission and the most important rule of combat is that the soldier standing next to you must have the same objectives as you do, no margin for stray missions.

Scott should have knocked out his daughter and sent her on a road trip. An alive but angry daughter is still better than one who loves you and is dead.

Secondly, no one should have trusted the chief security. They even discussed it. The guy should have been monitored with a strong member of the group. How could they have trusted him? Even the first girl that died, they should have suspected him (or better, that should be her dying words, exposing the guy who betrayed her)

Army of the dead was just action.

There are so many better zombie movies.

This movie is a rinse and repeat of Zack Snyder's remake of Dawn of the dead, albeit with a few differences.

A team goes to a location, location gets overrun with zombies, survivors escape with helicopter....then reveal at the end that the zombie nightmare is not over.

The only thing this movie adds is zombies with some intelligence (2 other zombie movies already tried this).

Army of the dead is cliche after cliche

1. INFESTED CITY TO BE NUKED ON A COUNTDOWN WHICH PUTS PRESSURE ON PROTAGONISTS- CHECK RESIDENT EVIL

2. ESCAPE ZOMBIES ON HELICOPTER- CHECK DAWN OF THE DEAD AND REAIDENT EVIL

3. TWO SURVIVORS OR AT LEAST 80% OF GOOD GUYS DIE. CHECK DAWN OF THE DEAD.

4. INTELLIGENT ZOMBIE HAS A BABE. CHECK I AM LEGEND

5. VILLAIN BETRAYS TEAM BECAUSE OF ULTERIOR MOTIVE. CHECK
