Not in this life or even in the world of fiction would any gladiator from the house of batiatus or even Spartacus series, match the Spartans in 300.

The only reason why the gladiators in Spartacus actually proved to be a formidable force against the Romans, was because of Spartacus himself. He served in the Roman regiment in their fight against the Getai, so he was well knowledgeable about Roman tactics and formation. Let's not also forget Spartacus himself is from Thrace. Thrace was also part of the Greek city states and they have formidable soldiers and good military tactics like the Athenians, Spartans etc.

If not for that, he and his fellow gladiators would have been dead a long time ago.

The strength of Sparta was in the collective unity of the phalanx, not the individual power of their soldiers. Stelios would be at a disadvantage in single combat with either of those gladiators.

Of course he will, but so will Leonidas. Between Spartacus and Leonidas who is the better commander? Leonidas over Spartacus, any day, any time.

Leonidas was given already made warriors with preexisting military tactics, with or without Leonidas, the Spartans have a set and working military system.

Leonidas will most likely not survive leading the gladiators rebellion.

Cube (1997)

Easily one of the best claustrophobic horrors I've ever seen. I've always like movies about people in tense situations. The picture begins with what appears to be a giangetic cube filled with several little compartments, some of which contain lethal traps. The main characters quickly meet and begin asking themselves questions about how they got there, why they're there, and so on. What I like about it is that they are all unique.

The plot revolves around how the characters evolve as they move from one room to the next. They gradually remove their masks, revealing what people are capable of doing in a tense situation. Without giving too much away, I'll tell you that they only got what they deserve.
