Having excellent Leadership Skills
does not happen in a day nor
happen
overnight neither does it come
easy. You have to build it up. It is
not enough to just build up those
skills, you have to continually
build up on
them and make them habits. This
makes you remarkably
outstanding, having everyone want to associate with
you and be like you in your place
of work or
where ever you find yourself.**
*WHO IS AN EXCELLENT LEADER/
ROLE MODEL?* A leader that people emulate and
want to be like - a leader with a
difference- is an excellent leader
and role model. The individual is a
good
example that everybody refers to and act like.

become an excellent leader/role
model in all
that you do*
1. Make a decision within yourself if you want to be
different from every other person.
2. Ask yourself ‘why’ you want to
be an excellent leader. Your
reason becomes your driving
force. 3. Stop thinking like everyone
else, and start thinking more
than everyone else.
4. Always find time to read
educative and inspiring things.
5. Think of new ways or methods to do tasks; use your
initiative and do things
differently.
6. Look for problems to solve.
Don ’t wait for problems to be
brought to you. 7. With a free and sincere heart,
render services outside your
jurisdiction and not because you
will be paid.
8. Help people around you if you
can. Do not make them beg you before you help them.
9. Learn how to deal with issues
especially when it comes to
personal and emotional issues at
work.
10. Be nice and do not look down on people, especially those
younger than you (or below you
in a work setting)
11. Be daring. Volunteer to do
things that people do not want to
do. Go to places people do not want to go.
12. Be Polite and Respectful to
everyone you come across.
Being an excellent leader is not
just for the benefit of those
around you. It is also for your own benefit. As
people admire and respect you,
you also
begin to have respect for yourself.
You become a better person, you
and everyone else can be proud of.
However be careful that you do
not become proud in the process.
So stop complaining. Start
thinking and acting like the
excellent leader that you are in every aspect of
your life.
