But he equally posted a picture of a federal road in Anambra that was just awarded for reconstruction. Let him be warned that I have a bucket of pictures from his laid-back state to show-case here.

Hypocrites..
What's this one spewing??

I wouldnt faulr your posts as to A REASONABLE EXTENT, It looks true.

However, what I just see as faulty in your theories here is the motive behind them. ! . A good government, irrespective of the mantle of expectations & responsibilities that is required of it by its people, must show its qualities of "good" through the delivery of the adequate standard of welfare & good life that the people of a nation (or the government) are entitled to OR should boast of.

That the people of a nation or government do not actively depend or rely on the government IS NO EXCUSE for the government to be a Nonentity.

Be it Socialist or Republican, or whatever character & way of life the people of a country may portray, Its Government must be Reliable. !!!

The BITTER truth here is:

I'm sorry if you feel offended, but I just have to put it straight that the Government/Leaderships in Igboland are the BEST examples of the WORST kind of governments that ever occured in human history. !! .

But please hope you remember that "the home of the people IS the picture of the people themselves. "

The reason for been Republicans is the reason why your homes are what they are today

...Also, the reason why we Yorubas are Socialists is the reason why our homes are what they are today.

MY 2 cents. !

And it's also the reason why there's homelessness and begging in yoruba land and no such a thing in igbo land.

It is absolute madness for an igbo man to expect the government to build his house for him, build his business for him, pay him money for no reason, etc etc. You'll never meet an igbo without a life plan and government assistance is never a part of it. As much as yorubas have advocated for social welfare, and igbos haven't, ironically the welfare of society in igboland is better than Yoruba land. There are no slums, no shanties, no thatch roof mud villages, no beggars, no homeless, no sleeping under bridges, no makokos, no almajiri, no agbero etc etc. Everyone is expected to take care of themselves.

Igbos are definitely in Yoruba land, but they're also in Somalia Haiti Niger Republic and Afghanistan. They're in Bayelsa, they're in Jigawa, they're in Lagos they're in Abuja. Were they see opportunity, they're there, and they're still in the east in heavy enough number to build enormous and productive cities. Nobody is going to Yoruba land because of social welfare (lol). They're going to Yoruba land because they see 40 million people they can sell things too and collect rent from, simple.

LOL you don't get it, Anambra has the highest JAMB test scores in the entire nation! So what does your painted desk really mean? Imo has a number of jamb applicants that's double the next closest Yoruba state. It's great that Edo and APC states have focused on making school presentable, but schools in igbo land focus of competition between students, and displaying achievement and talent. When the governor visits the best students present their skills, they compete for this honor, and so when it's time to take a test they maintain the attitude of competition. Everyone wants to be the best, desk, bare floor or mansion, it doesn't matter the terrain.
what has JAMB scores got to do with being educated and literate? All tertiary schools in Ogun outnumber Southeast tertiary schools combined. what does that tell you?

in as much as I like your write-up and analysis but its highly biased.
yorubas are great entrepreneurs. infact, they are the largest entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
Yorubas are the largest welders, barbers, carpenters, butchers, hairdressers, artists, bricklayers, plumbers, traders, mechanics, vulcanizers et all in the country, these can be seen from their associations' executives in nigeria. These are just semi and unskilled professions. in other hand, igbos exp their men are the largest importers in nigeria. They just love importing anything whether good or bad due to the numbers of their ignorance for economy.

And you are aware that the poverty in yorobar land is only 2nd to the one in Mogadishu? Why are yorobars this poor..? If you push your luck further I will start brandishing pictures here and now.

How many igbos are barbers? moreover, I typed that to rubbish your perspection about Igbos are more entrepreneurial

if this is true, how come ebonyi state trumps Anambra in term of IGR or is Ebonyi not a typical Igboland? like someone said, its either your leaders have failed woefully in discharging their duties or they are milking your revenues dry.

someone had responded to this

most of the people that own mansions live in outside igboland but only come home occasionally to use them. they are always empty but fill during festive season

LOL at how many igbos are barbers. So how is cutting our hair? Chinko? hahaha
Ebonyi state is very much not typical igbo land, every igbo knows this. It doesn't make the people of Ebonyi better or worst but culturally everyone know Ebonyi state is different.

You're not an igbo and thus wouldn't know who owns what mansion in what village. The igbos you know are the igbos that come to your state. If you believe they're the only igbos that exist or that everyone in Imo state with no port is a professional importer that one is your own, but if I were to judge the yoruba from the yorubas that come to igboland i would assume all yorubas are market women.

Again, Imo, Delta, Anambra, and Abia EVER year trade places for #1 in Jamb scores, and WAEC. These are facts. Literacy in all igbo states, except Ebonyi, is 94%+. You have never met an Igbo man or woman that doesn't speak english, every well, and english is taught in schools. I met Yorubas Edos and Hausas that don't speak english, the language of education in Nigeria. You will never meet a homeless igbo man or one that isn't feeding his or her family.
Igbos equate pidgin English as the real English. A little look at media houses will make you bow your head in shame. how many igbos are columnists, editorials, presenters, broadcasters compare to the yorubas? reading champion newspaper can make someone have F9 in English language.

You begged and cried for 30 years for the FG to build the 2nd Niger bridge for and its still not built and you still won't do on your own. On the othe hand, the folks in the SW don't beg or wait, the build their own infrastructures including bridges.

This is the madness maje is talking about. we don't have amaljiri in Igboland. no society is devoid of beggars or destitutes but what I saw in Ibadan alone scared me. able bodied women and men begging is the height of it. And they are in large numbers as well. tufiakwa.

Which infrastructure did they build in yorobarland? Did fashole build 3rd mainland bridge? Did fashole build Ikorodu road? This was a state built 100% by FG and handed it over to yorobass to mess up. If FG had allowed yorobass to take over lagos from day one it would have ended up like the slum- ibadan. The last I checked there is only one flyover in the whole of oyo state. There is non ogun, ekiti, oshogbo etc

Is this all you got? Combination of chinua achebe and chinda couldn't surpass only wole Soyinka. now check this:

Nigeria’s Tope Folarin has won the 2013 Caine Prize for African Writing, described as Africa’s leading literary award, for his short story entitled ‘Miracle’ from Transition , Issue 109 (Bloomington, 2012).
The Chair of Judges, Gus Casely-Hayford, announced Tope Folarin as the winner of the £10,000 prize at a dinner held this evening (Monday, 8 July) at the Bodleian Library in Oxford.
‘Miracle’ is a story set in Texas in an evangelical Nigerian church where the congregation has gathered to witness the healing powers of a blind pastor-prophet. Religion and the gullibility of those caught in the deceit that sometimes comes with faith rise to the surface as a young boy volunteers to be healed and begins to believe in miracles.
Gus Casely-Hayford praised the story, saying: "Tope Folarin's 'Miracle' is another superb Caine Prize winner - a delightful and beautifully paced narrative, that is exquisitely observed and utterly compelling".
Tope Folarin is the recipient of writing fellowships from the Institute for Policy Studies and Callaloo, and he serves on the board of the Hurston/Wright Foundation. Tope was educated at Morehouse College, and the University of Oxford, where he earned two Master's degrees as a Rhodes Scholar. He lives and works in Washington, DC.

Are you for real? Outside yorobarland does anybody knows who soyenka is? NO

Achebe is as popular as Mandela. He attracted the same attention which Mandela is attracting now. Achebe's books are read all over the world while soyenka trash are read in ibadan, ogbomosho, oshogbo and those other rural areas in yorobarland.

An average Nigerian student does not know who is soyenka, but Achebe is a house hold name all over the world. His book TFA has been translated in over 60 languages, can you say same for that cultist soyenka? NO

Am neither from the east nor west, but i think the Ibos have a system that works very well socially and economically. And that is the beauty of FEDERALISM. If only we would be allowed to practice it to the full extent, it will be much more better in the SE and SS than any other part in Nigeria. The Ibos are by far the richest ethnic group in Nigeria, because they have majority of their population doing well economically than any other part of Nigeria. They have this American mind set of independence and hardwork. They always seek the ability to derive from the economy the livelihood that would give them a maximum degree of choice. I presently live in a "VILLAGE" in Enugu state, but the houses i see here is better than what u will find in SW "CITIES".

we dont need to leave our cities. we are not a generation of cain the wanderer. You look upto to SW as your greener pasture, we look upto US UK and Europe as our greener pastures and not a gully eroded and landslide disaster region.

You made trading in your 2 by 2 inches shops and backyard factories your hobby, or at best, importation of sub standard goods, we own multinationals producing goods of international standards, through the foresight of our forefathers, by acquiring shares in those companies. We control the shipping business that brings your goods, we control the financial institutions, while you are running and scheming on the next person to either rob or kidnap or use for money rituals.

you are so industrious and none of your people is named in the top 20 richest africans. is it by your 2 by 2 inches shops you will achieve that. They are so rich and poverty dotes every nook and cranny of alaigbo, crime is the order of the day in their land. they are so rich, they had to be running away from their uncles to SW, so that they wont kill them. Alaigbo is so bless that, even their Governors will rather invest their stolen monies in SW. The land that its people are running away from is cursed.

Ohaneze, Aka Ikenga and Massob will want to hold meeting, it will still be in SW. Are you guys not even ashamed? When did you hear Arewa people or SS people holding their ethnic fraternity meetings in SW.

Achebe nearly wrote with his teeth, just in the name of wanting to be a Nobel Laureate. His envious nature pushed him to write the disaster he wrote at his old age. Soyinka still remains the only Nobel Laureate. If you don't like it, you can jump inside the lagoon or igwuruta lake or Mississippi, depending on which one is closer to you. Chimanda has started from where her shameless uncle ended and we already know what will become of "my-uncle-told-me" writer. She had better repent of her envy too before she too ends up in the wheel chair like her despicable uncle.

Next thing they will say yorubas are dirty, leave our dirty land , they wont, they want to die there before their corpse are sent back to nnewi. We are dirty and their ladies will be having hairs, moustache and beards like baboons. They would have nearly bleached their skeleton. Can't you see hausa girls? Must you bleach before you can be fine. We should not even talk of prostitution, be it the corporate one or roadside one. Ibo girls can do their father just because of money.

I shake my head for an ethnic group that have sold their souls to money. Money driven, power thirsty, crime celebrating, crime encouraging, crime loving, envious and covetous race.

We are lazy, and we have always been ahead of them in everything. For your information, we are already planning on how to be the first african to go to the moon and mars, so if you want to die because of that, you can quickly jump in front of trailer along Lagos-ibadan expressway.

A lazy community is meant to have idle hands that will take to crime, leading to high level of crime rate and the attendant insecurity. What do we see in SW, investors are rushing in, both local and foreign. That attest to our assurance of security of lives and properties, which is as a result of gainfully employed youths not having time to take to crime - be it skilled and unskilled. Unlike some people's crime infested region.

i don tire for u na and u na no get shame.
