felifeli: Please NO Kfc, Mr Biggs, Shoprite, Chicken minini ... or any place which has meat pie and donuts on the premises. Is there any other ethnic restaurants in Ibadan ? Chinese, Indian, Italian etc ?

There is Ostrich Bakery, owned by chinese @ high court, ring road ibadan.. Their chicken bread is superb. You can also go to wimpy (chinese/lebanese restaurant) @ onireke...

I will thank you now nevertheless. The directions are rather vague however. Do you have exact addresses or landmarks near the location of each of them. I know Booksellers so I ca locate martha's. I also know Mama Ope at Mokola. Apparently the Chinese restaurant at Ring Road has closed down ? I could not find Bubble club.
Bubble club is still very much operational. The club is to your left if going from Odo Ona or from Akinyemi or from D'Rovans Hotel to Challenge. Ask anybody for Bubble and they will direct you accordingly.
There is another Chinese restaurant at Jericho, around 18 (name of the place is 18). Ask anyone for 18 when you get to Jericho.

If going towards Eleyele or Jericho from Dugbe, Martha's Kitchen is before Book Sellers, just opposite ANCE Building, immediately after the Aleshinloye junction. It is to your right.

Iya Dunni is at Challenge, ask anyone once you get to the last roundabout (if going from Odo Ona area) facing 1st bank and Tantalizers.

Iya Ala is at Molete immediately after the brigde. It's where to get the best 'Ogufe' in Ibadan.

Ori Oke Mokola is for all round 'faaji' and the amala is really good. It's located on the Mokola hill just beside the Cultural Centre. Everybody knows the Cultural Centre located behind Premier Hotel if coming from Mokola.

Iya Ope at Odo Ona may be too difficult to locate cos itz a small joint.

Mama Soji is on your way to Eleyele from Jericho area. I've never been there but I hear it's nice

From Jericho going towards Sabo or Dugbe, Foodies it to your right just at that valley, as you are about ascending, where there are speed-breakers and some beggers as well as some kids selling groundnut in bottles. It's not far to Adamasingba stadium (you will be looking at the stadium in front like this) and it's to your right

hardeyincah: BIBIRE for Sango, Poly ibadan. Classics for iwo road....
Passed that place this afternoon and decided to investigate. I am afraid Bibire is a nasty smelly stuffy place, not conducive for eating by human beings. Will not go there again. angry

cheesy cheesy
I didn't want to say this. Certainly not a top restaurant in Ibadan.

If you want Amala, go to Skye Bank or Ojurin at Bodija. Mama Ope and Martha's are okay but for the best Abula/Amala in a not-so-bad environment, go to Bodija. Others are just ..........

This thread is a disgrace to everybody that has some connection to IB. The majority of suggestions here are gross mama put type places for bus drivers and conductors. So disgusting.

Whatever happened to the Chinese restaurant at Premier Hotel? Is it still operating? The name of the Chinese restaurant at Jericho is Golden Dragon or something like that. It has been ages since I ate there.

the amala joints are patronised by top executives and bankers and well meaning professionals, in any case, the chinese restaurant at premier hotel still functions while the golden dragon has been closed down for about 3 years now, there is wimpys at onireke as well as another one in the heritage mall if you are feeling chinese

Today, on our restaurant review platform, we have around 100 restaurants in Ibadan (continues to grow everyday) and includes a bunch of Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants. Folks said these places didn't exist in Ibadan but we have proven them wrong. Of course, we still have our full list of local mama puts / bukas. Enjoy!

Yes he did - that's why I provided a link to all the Ibadan restaurants in the ofadaa.com database.

To make it easier - see below the restaurants:

Indian
Zen Restaurant, Jeriho
Kakanfo Inn, Off Mobil Petrol Station, New GRA

Chinese
Cuisine 'n' Chops, Old Bodija
Chiefs Kitchen, Heritage Mall
Golden Dragon - Premier Hotel
Kabachi Chinese Fusion Bistro, Ventura Mall
KunFung, Oluyole
