Former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made this assertion while receiving an award by the National Conference of Black Mayors, based in America in his office.

The National Conference of Black Mayors in America at its 38th annual convention which held recently in Atlanta Georgia awarded Bola Tinubu the association’s highest award, the President’s Award.

Do you know that Shortly before he left office in 2007, Bola Tinubu signed a mindless Pensions Law which gives a former governor a pension salary that is same as that of the sitting governor.
In addition, he gets 300 percent of this amount as (furniture allowance,two houses (one in Abuja and the other in Lagos) at locations of the former governor’s choice, three replaceable brand new cars,and an almost endless list of aides and allowances
Furthermore, the Pensions Law starts operating from Bola Tinubu while all other former governors are excluded from the package.
