Most boys love to play football.
During each competition, their
overriding purpose is to help
their team to score. It's not
enough just to pass the ball
back and forth. To succeed,
they aim for the goal. So it is
with us. No matter what we do
in life, if we don't have a goal
we're headed for failure.

We need spiritual goals as well.
Above all else, the apostle
Paul wanted to receive God's
approval. He says, "I press on
toward the goal for the prize of
the upward call of God...." He
hungered to know God more
intimately; and he willingly
endured pain, trials and
tribulation to tell others about
his Saviour.

Do we share that same
passion - to grow closer to God,
and to serve Him faithfully? The
words of The Ikoro are a means
by which you can reach the
goal of growing closer to The
LORD. As you take time each
day to listen to Him speak to
you through the Scriptures, as
you read the words of The
Ikoro, and as you pray; God
will transform your thinking and
help your faith to grow.

I pray that this coming year all
emasculated men, all
homosexual men, all bisexual
men, and all men that believe
in the virtue that is
homosexuality will all join The
Ikoro (who remains yours
truly, I, Ikoro Iyineleda) in an
all-out pursuit of knowing God
and pleasing Him. Together,
let's go for the goal!!
