Glo League Champions, Kano Pillars this morning forced the Super Eagles team preparing for CHAN Tournament to a 2-2 draw at the National Stadium, Abuja. The match which was described as the toughest for the team in all their friendly games saw the Super Eagles bring out their best in the game and scored first through Abubakar Aliyu.

Pillars did not waste time to come back into the game and they were rewarded with a goal by Bello Koformata. [b]Rabiu Ali [/b]who inceidentally plays for Kano Pillars got the second through a penalty for the Super Eagles, before Koformata completed his brace.
In the second half, the tywo teams tried to increase the tally, but the game ended 2-2.

Super Eagles media officer, Ben Alaiya said it was a good game and the Kano side gave the National Team a good game. “This is the type of game that will toughen the team for the task ahead. And we are happy because Pillars proved to everybody that they are really Champions of the Premier League,” Alaiya said.

learnt that more players will be decamped today before the final list will be released before the new year.

This guys are just hot to play on pitch, they dont just want to play with their co.nigerian brothers,,they want to meet the other countries before they bring out their mantle...the guys are not worried about their drawing the match..because they won already..two goals on play..pillers manged to recolize only by d hope of penalty...the homebased players are good to go..expect the unexpected from this player's like the african cup of nations match..unexpectedly like joke we broth the cup home..who new it would be so..NigerianTeem is no longer dossing...........good luck keship.....hoping u will aslo bring this trophy home..thanks
