My phone was stolen on saturday and i want to destroy it even if its not with me.
Pls what is the code i will use or how will i do it?

Here is what you do. but you must have the serial no. or IMEI number of the phone

step 1.
from another phone write a text message containing only the serial number or IMEI number of the stolen phone.

step2.
send it to thesame serial number or IMEI number of the stolen phone

FOR INSTANCE THE IMEI NUMBER OF THE STOLEN PHONE IS 00839487765

TYPE IT ON MESSAGE (00839487765) WITH ANOTHER PHONE AND SEND TO (00839487765)


NOTE: TO GET YOU IMEI NUMBER TYPE
*#06# FROM YOUR PHONE AND COPY THE NUMBERS OUT
KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENVES

I've tried that thing before. It just doesn't work. Only your network provider can do it for you,or you try downloading one "antitheft" software. It relays a message to an optional phone number with options of what u want to do to the stolen phone. Haven't used it but know someone who has. It renders d phone useless,not even flashing can bring it back to life.

it's not recommended u install anti-theft on ur memory card, i don't even think u can install it on ur memory card it just goes directly to ur phone memory, well that is if u install phone guardian.

I have tried it before, I sent d serial number in a message wit my mtn to d same serial number. The message hanged, telling me message failed. I repeated it the same thing. I tried sending it wit my etisalat, they collected N15 from my airtime, d message sent but told me not delivered.

Can you call ur network provider and tell them whats going on
