I have always wanted to compile this list for so long but had other things which held me since then. I decided to compile it now that i have the time since we are on holidays.

The List you are about to read is the List of Top New Blogs in Nigeria to Watch in 2014. These blogs have only existed for a short period of time and yet, they have affected a large number of audience positively.

Writing this list, Alexa rank of these blogs is our major source but due to the Fact that Alexa ranking is not constant, other factors such as the blog's influence to it's readers for the length of time it has existed was also employed.

Owned and Managed by MaxkDave, Android Nigeria Started in August 2013. Android Nigeria is a Blog in the confines of wordpress in the tech Nich which discusses only topics Relating to Android Smartphones. Android Nigeria in not upto 6 Months of existence already has an Alexa Rank of 410,633 worldwide and 12,253 In Nigeria with over 4,000 Facebook Fans.

2. MetroNaija.Com:
Owned and Managed by Olokede Olawale, Metro Naija was started in June 2013. Metro Naija is a Nigerian Owned Blog in the confines of Wordpress In the Gossips and Entertainment Niche. In not more than six Months, This Blog is already has an Alexa Rank of 195,277 Worldwide and 1078 In Nigeria with a Facebook FanPage of over 6,000 Fans.

3. 1NaijaTV.Com:
Owned and Managed by Sotonye Amoni Jude, Metro Naija was started in September 2013. 1NaijaTV is a Nigerian Owned Blog in the confines of Blogger In the Gossips and Entertainment Niche. In not more than six Months, This Blog is already has an Alexa Rank of 145,303 Worldwide and 1139 In Nigeria with a Facebook FanPage of over 200 Fans.

Owned and Managed by Elvis Emefu, Nasty Gist was started in October 2013. NastyGst is a Nigerian Owned Blog in the confines of Blogger In the Gossips and Entertainment Niche. Having existed not upto than 5 Months, This Blog already has an alexa Rank of 336,817 Worldwide and 2150 In Nigeria and a Facebook Fanpage of more than 2,000 Fans.

6. NgScholars.Com:
Owned and Managed by Ogundimu Ahmed, NgScholars is an Educational Blog which offers News from all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. Started in February 2013, This Blog already has an Alexa Rank of 59,842 Worldwide and 378 In Nigeria and more than 45,000 Facebook Fans.

7. OmoscoWonder.Com:
Owned by Isaiah Joseph, OmoscoWonders.com is a Blog in the confines of wordpress which talks about Blogging Tips, Seo and Related Stuffs. Started in February 2013, Omoscowonder.com already has an alexa Rank of 141,931 Worldwide and 1763 in Nigeria.

8. LordBnf.Com:
Owned and Managed by Olili Bob, LordBNF.com is a blog which talks about Blogging, Tips and Tricks. Started in June 2013, lordBNF.com already has an alexa rank of 189,540 Worldwide and 2583 In Nigeria.

9. ThatNaijaBlog.Com:
Owned and Managed by Nosa Ero Nosa, That Naija Blog is a blog which offers contents about Tips, All about Smartphones, Ispirational Posts, and lots more. Started in April 2013, ThatNaijaBlog already has an Alexa rank of 54,560 Worldwide and 1365 in Nigeria.

10. NaijaBadoo.Com:
Owned and Managed by DonVin Francis, Naijabadoo.com Is an entertainment blog which offers the Latest Music, Videos, celebrity gists and gossips. Started in March 2013, NaijaBadoo.Com already has an alexa rank of 642,103 worldwide and 4,550 in Nigeria.

11. Gidi360.com:
Owned and Managed by Adetunji Lekksite, Gidi360 is a Blog in the confines of wordpress. It is a blog in the entertainment Niche which talks gossips and celebrity gists. Gidi360.com Was started in september 2013. Existing not more than 4 Months, Gidi360.com has an alexa rank of 548,391 Worldwide and 2536 In Nigeria.

Conclusion: The list above is not In Heirachy of Perfomance. It is a Randomly listed list. The list above was not listed in favoritism or sort of. It is not 100% Accurate, Therefore, There is posibility of mistakes in it. I dont even know some of the owners, just got their facebook Profile list through some means.

I started the blog on March 25th this year and it has an Alexa rank of 122, 207 worldwide and a Nigerian rank of 706.

You dont need to register in alexa to get your site/blog ranked. Once its online, its starts ranking.
