Our country is far from peace. Breaking of sad news in every parts of the nation. We are all living in fear. Our leaders have failed us. They don't care about the welfare of the people. They don't care if tribes,regions raise against each other,all after is accumulation of wealth. They even sponsor monsters to destabilize the nation to deprive the nation of that peace it craves for.
Hypocrites are those who we call leaders. They are full of deceits. They shifted our attention from the main course by associating the problems of this nation to one person. As a matter of fact, we all have hands in the problems bedeviling this nation. No one,no tribe should be singled out for calamities in this nation.

DR ROBERT OPPENHEIMER,who supervised the creation of the first atomic bomb, was asked to appear before a congressional committee. They asked him if there was any defense against this awesome new weapon of war "certainly" the great physicist replied.
" And that is____" some asked
The audience awaited the answer in subdued silence. "Peace", the eminent scientist replied softly

* someone has pointed out that over the 4000yrs there have been fewer than 300yrs of peace.

Peace is paramount to every nation. A nation that must grow,must seek peace first. There is no substitute for peace. Sacrifices need to be made for peace to reign and the change we desire for this nation to come.
Peace can neither be found in possessions nor bottles as some claimed. And it cannot be found in our leaders. It can only be found in us,"You and I". And it can only be found in us if we decide to make that sacrifice. "Sacrifice" i mean putting all kinds of unrighteousness; greed,hatred,deceits,corrupt practices,love of money,terrorism,tribalism,racism,fornication,adultery e.t.c to death for the sake of the love we have for this nation.
Conclusively,Love you neighbours as yourself. It is when you develop genuine love for your neighbours,that is when you can make sacrifice for peace. Peace of this nation can only be found in us as we make sacrifice. And it takes the God's grace to sacrifice all these evil things. By strength shall no man prevail,it takes his Grace. And you to have His grace,you have to focus on Him. I enjoin us all to live in peace as we watch this nation grows.
