So many Doctors with diagnosis,prognosis and prescriptions
Too many formulas, theories, policies yet no solutions
Many say our problem is only corruption
Many say our issue is the amalgamation
Few think a group of Technocrats has the solution
Some say the leaders and followers lack direction
We all grope around like headless Chickens without a mission.
All we need is just one Man

Many men in Khaki and Uniforms failed
Many men in Khaftan and Agbada failed
Many Hausa men tried and failed
Many Yoruba men ended up failed
This minority man is as good as failed
The Igbo man can't convince us he will not fail
All we need is just one Man

We need a Man like Nelson Mandela
We need a Man like Martin Luther King
We need a Man like Mahatma Gandhi
We need a Man like Orunmila
We need a Man like Prophet Mohammed
We need a Man like Jesus Christ
All we need is just one Man

Is the one man a Nigerian?
Is the one Man Old or Young?
Is it Me or is it You?
Is he amongst the current "Politricians"?
Is he a saint or a repentant sinner?
Perhaps the one Man is yet unborn?
All we need is just one Man

One Man to save this Rich but Impoverished Nation
One Man to restore the Glory of these Royal but enslaved People
One Man to bring back Hope to these frustrated Citizens
One Man to bridge the gaps of necessity
All we need is just one Man.
