Fleming dedicated the James Bond character to Niven. But Niven wasn't a Bond. He just did that Casino Royale spoof.

You nailed it spot on. The posh, sleek generically handsome 'Bond' is a Hollywood invention. Craig is Fleming's Bond, the first time the man in the books came alive on screen. Even the other Bonds agree on that.

Thank God. I was beginning I was d only that liked OHMSS. D soundtrack is my favorite amongst all d 007 films. John Barry real brought his a-game with that effort.

Roger Moore is the best James Bond for me. Might have been Pierce Brosnan if he had acted in at least 6 Bond films.
