On Behalf of the 2012/2013 batch of the indigent students of state of Osun drawn from various universities that attended the campuses of the Nigeria Law School in the same said year,am obliged to write this letter to our amiable and trail-blazing Governor.
By precedence your adminstration has over the years assuaged the financial burden of law school students as part of your interest and several reforms in education.It is too obvious enough for all to see.
The sum of One hundred thousand naira is given to the students yearly and as usual we all submitted our names and particulars hoping to benefit from your kind gesture this year again but several months after the completion of the Program we are yet to be paid.We got it from reliable source that you have signed and ordered the grants to be disbursed since August last year.But it seems some unscrupulous element in your adminstration have hijacked the whole process and rendered us hapless.
Ogbeni Aregbesola,it is clear to all and sundry that you are a listening governor who strongly believe in fairness and equality and a strong supporter of the down-trodden.this single conviction makes us believe in your leadership.Several phone calls were ignored by the officers in charge of it in the Ministry of Education while some of them requested for bribes to facilitate the grant.
My able Governor i will like to inform you that almost all the states in the federation have paid including your counterpart in Oyo State,and now we are left to the mercy of civil servants who dribble us endlessly for whatever gain of theirs.
Sir we call on you to wage into this matter and ensure we are promptly paid.
