The date of birth that appears in my pasport is not my actual date of birth, the mistake was made when my form was being filled.
i was born 5th jan 1985 [23yrs] but what appears in my pasport is 5th jan 19 1978 [30yrs] pls i want to know if this would affect me in the long run and how, can it be corrected, how do i go abt corecting it. woul it be necesary for me to go for corection.
i need respons plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

His date of birth is 1980 but his passport reads 1975 , he has travelled a lot with this passort without correcting it do u guys think the mistake can still be corrected ? or should he wait till 2010 when the passport expires and get a new one with the original DOB .

Actually for his case it was not a mistake , he delibrately changed the DOB

yes is a big effect go and correct it now before is too late i have this problem at the moment i have a new Nigerian passport with my real date of birth and i have my birth certificate with me still the germany consular want more proof
and to get this proof it take 3 to 4 months and a payment of 410Eur.

Nigeria passport)if u have declaration of age and swear affidavit,
nija embassy will change your date on your passport,the problem your may have is

hey hmm first mistake you made at all your stories is applying for stay without out
age declaration.through embassy in Berlin.is still possible to change it,but u have to
do that with legal adviser(lawyer).first go to Nigeria embassy and get age declaration,it cost 30euro.the go to ur lawyer and he will write the German immigration,then maybe there will make stress but so or so they will change it on your document too(if have necessary proof)and rember there also ask your to pay strafe maybe.

Thanks for your input, i definitely need a lawyer to fix these things once i have the neccessary documentations. Do you think as a first, i need a new passport that carries thesame age? Since my passport is going to expire in few months should i just get a new one and proceed that way?

@stan if it me i would make new passport with my really age
after i must have the necessary document like age declaration and birth
certificate.then dont forget u have to go LOTAL(not sure if it notal or lotal my german writein is worse than my speaking) u kwn what i mean,show them the two passport with ur sticker there will swear
affidavit. for the immigration officer not to make much stress.

Hello my great professors in the house, I have another challenge. Here is my story:

Yes, i have used it to travel to other countries before. The age difference is a year, for example to change year 1983 to year 1982.
Day and month remain the same.

Please, my brother did the capturing for his passport but is yet collect due to the delay in issuing passport these days. The problem is there was a mistake in the date of birth.
