arsenal fans,  i can't really place my fingers on what their problems are. but i sure know that they have a lot of them. wenger's bid for gallas just seemed like the right thing to do. everyone saw it comin. the saga with cole and gallas' unrest at chelski all added up. not that he actually wanted an already established player when he can get a player from a club in cote d'ivoir for 20 thousand pounds. like he did eboue and toure. i wonder how much he'll be willin to part with to get gallas,  let's see if the price for gallas wont chase him away like he did during the juve sudden transfers. a reporter asked wenger if he was going to take advantage of juve's problem to get  good players, guess what wenger said. "No, we wont be buying any of those players because we can't pay their wages". is wenger also arsenal' s accountant?? My point, wenger is very uptight about spending.

Henry is arguably as good as sheva though they have different styles so a direct comparison cannot be made, and ballack? well i admit no one is currently as good as he is, but we had vieira, and we'll develop

only ignorant gunner fans will insist we only go for u-20 players, Arsene prefers young players, which is what his policy shows but he'll buy experience once in a while when needed - lehmann, suker, gilberto, hleb, rosicky, campbell and so on.

Wenger is good but i can make a 100-man list of players that deteriorated while at Arsenal which proves Wenger is not a ball of fire like most Arsenal fans especially Nigerians think.
An average Nigerian Arsenal fan will conclude Wenger changed Kanu's game but i disagree with that.
Wenger ruined Kanu's career and i still believe he used Kanu to build Thierry Henry(his kinsman) and he dumped kanu like a trash bag when the deed was done.
Kanu was not even in Arsenal when he won Japan 93, Champions League in 1995 and Atlanta 96.

1) Gallas is already a completely finished product. Thanks to his five years at stamford Bridge. Beside Nicholas anelka, no single footballer can run better than him.
