hat happened to the old transmision?

i own one, the selection is not smooth and jumps out of gear while in motion am looking to buy either the rite transmission or new engine the vin no. is 4A3AA46G33E141 tks.

Did anyone work/serviced your transmission recently?
What is the color of the fluid, any do you know if its at full level.
Is there a red oil stain on the ground after you park the car overnite.

Transmission on a 2003 should be in great shape.
Your check engine light should be on, get the codes(DTC) and post it or google it
