Hope we are done with our dress, time to move on to a new project.

I will post pix of my dress when am done with d embellishing am putting, will Rock it and post pix.
Our next project is a simple envelope clutch.

Our measurement will be 20inches height wide by 14inches width.

Now there are diff methods, the one you use karibold, foam, gum and the you can DIY yourself by sewing.

Am taking the DIY method for quick and easy make and u can get the supply easily.

Supplies
Fabric 1yard
Wordy or gum stay (the tickest) 1yard
Lining (1yard)
Magic tape
Paper for pattern
Chalk, ruler and tape rule

Method

Cut 20inches height by 14inches wide on ur paper, then divide into 3 equal part or measure 7inch rule, 7inche rule and d remain will be ur Clutch flap, you can Shap ur flap any how u desire.
Re: DIY (do It Yourself) & Sew Along by Nobody: 6:49pm On Aug 03, 2014
Trying to upload a sketch but network no agree, will do later....

Note the figures of d Clutch division for later.

Now use your pattern to cut out your fabric and lining. Iron your interfacing (wordy or gum stay) on d fabric and lining, then it's time to sew.

Place ur ironed fabric and lining together, (right side together) and sew abt 0.5 inches round leaving abt 3inch at d side.

Now trim/clip d hedges then turn inside out and iron iron flat, then sew d 3inches opening u left earlier.

To fold, measure d division/panel we drafted on ur pattern and fold, after folding sew down and round ur Clutch if u want.

If you are using magic tape sew it in before folding or tack press button for closure, u can accessorise d top with a brooch or old earring.

Will post pix later.

Hope u understand, if not ask ur question and Pls post pix thx.

Thing needed.
Circular object e.g disc, plates
Tape, chalk, needle
Paper for pattern

Instructions
1
Using a plate, plastic lid or other circular object as a pattern, cut a circle of fabric anywhere from 2 to 6 inches. The finished yo-yo will be roughly half the diameter of the beginning circle of fabric.

2
Place the fabric right side down on the table. Fold up approximately 1/4 inch of the fabric from the edge. With the threaded needle, begin sewing a simple running stitch through both thicknesses of fabric, all the way around the circle.

3
Pull the thread tight to gather the fabric as tight as it will comfortably go. End off the thread by taking a few small stitches through a few of the resulting gathers. Turn the yo-yo right side out so that the raw edge is hidden inside and the open circle sits in the middle.

4
The yo-yo is now finished and can be appliqued to clothes, throw pillows, clutches as decoration.

Pix coming soon.
