Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by Nobody: 2:31pm On Jul 27, 2014
freakcin: Lewis just been told to let Nico through! undecided

but he wont.... HAAHAHAHAHAh priceless!
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by freakcin: 2:34pm On Jul 27, 2014
^^^He does have a point though! It makes no sense for him to slow down and compromise his chances just for Nico to come through!

If Nico wants it, let him work for it! cool
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by ItGeek(m): 2:36pm On Jul 27, 2014
Nico is not doing enough to get through, you don't just wait for LH to let you through, he should have made the move.
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by Nobody: 2:40pm On Jul 27, 2014
the fact that Rosberg thought that Ham was going to let him sail through, just like that, is the funny part here....... doesnt he know that the war is ON?! bwaaaaaah!
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by freakcin: 2:44pm On Jul 27, 2014
Things are happening so fast now! Lewis 1.2 secs adrift Fernando and Nico is now 4th!

I think this is the best race ever!
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by freakcin: 2:47pm On Jul 27, 2014
Less than a second separates first three drivers! shocked
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by Nobody: 2:49pm On Jul 27, 2014

Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by freakcin: 2:58pm On Jul 27, 2014

Roseberg limits damage to 3 points

Still 11 points gap

Long way
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by Nobody: 3:03pm On Jul 27, 2014
top race....... Ricciardo was on fire in the last 10laps, best finish this year for Alonso, Ham from pit start to 3rd, he was on beast mode and was absolutely right in not letting Rosberg through, as for Rosberg..... lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

you mean damage limitation for HAMILTON, who started from the pit while his teammate (who was 14 points ahead in the championship) was on pole...... the only true winner here today is Ham.

On the contrary nico limited damage...

He made some bad choices in the first SC

At a point he was going to be behind Lewis...

What happened to Golden boy Vettel
Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by justwise(m): 3:24pm On Jul 27, 2014
MRbrownJAY: ^^^^your prayers were answered, lol!!!! look at how the Mercs are struggling under these conditions.

Hahahahahahaha...seriously this is what i prayed for. Nico asking for team order and LH rightly ignored it. Good job!!!

you are looking at this race with the wrong perspective.....at the beginning of the race, Ham had NO CHANCE whatsoever of reducing the 14points advantage from the Berg. before the race, the Berg was well positioned to add more points to his advantage on Ham. in the 1st lap, the Ham even drove off with break failure..... and let us not forget the radio message that wanted Ham to let the Berg through, which he ignored. the gods were not on Ham's side this weekend but he fought back and won!

Fantastic race!!!.... By far the best race this season. Really enjoyed it

As for Mercedes team tactics, all I have to say is "This Boys Ain't Loyal" grin

That was a disgraceful call by Mercedes asking Ham to let Nico through. They lead the constructors chamiponship by a mile. It's unlikely they are going to get caught. Not with the pace of the Merc. So that leads me to conclude that the 'let through' call to Ham was not a 'team order' but one made to benefit Nico solely.

It's hard enough listening and reading all the conspiracy theorists cliaming foul against Ham but when Mercedes come out with garbage like this, one can't help but think that truly, Mercedes favours Rosberg to win the championship. So the conspiracy theorists are not so far behind in their thinking.

bro, last week Ham finished 3rd, NOT second (Bottas was up there in between them)... so yes, this Merc cars are the fastest out there but it is NOT a done deal, especially not with their reliability issues. if you really think that these cars are the best and can go from pit start to podium finish, like a simple walk in the park, then why did the Berg stayed 19 fukcing laps behind Vergne (with the supposedly fastest cars out there)?! or better yet, why the Berg isnt on the podium?!

last week, these guys were almost equal on point (4 points difference), yet today's race we had a possible 39points advantage for the Berg, if Ham's car continued to fall apart.....and it looked this way when he lost control at the beginning due to breaks. Ham needed to reduce the point deficit, and from the start of the race, it certainly looked bleak.

if the Berg was let through (when Ham was asked to step aside) then the Berg would have easily won this race (he was lapping faster than Ricciardo), BUT he would now have a 27points advantage on Ham.

One thing I know is that the story is not over
Lewis will need a favor too....berg will not accept

yes that's true, and this may bite him in the aasss in the future, but there was no way he could have let him through, none! that is the only driver standing in the way of Ham's 2nd championship. 3 points taken from the Berg's advantage is A LOT, and what may make the difference between champion and vice champion.

a couple months ago, i remember you beating your silly chest telling us
all that Rosberg cannot beat Hamilton, while i was telling you to wait
and see. only a bloody fool could predict the winner of this yr,
especially when you've seen Ham's spectacular drive last week from 20th
to 3rd.[/quote]
You are the world's biggest ret@rd! Infact if there's anyone more ret@rded than you in this universe feel free to sue me! If Rosberg could beat Hamilton then why do we still have a title race? That Hamilton is still in the title race highlights the superiority of the Mercs and the fact that Rosberg is an average joe. Would Hamilton have finished 3rd from pit last year? Ewu

Don't mind Mrbrownjay the village eediot! Have we not seen Nico Rosberg also recover from a poor start to end up on the podium? Only a naive jive-turkey would not anticipate that Merc car landing on the podium regardless of where they are on the grid
