. Soon afterthe conclusion of All Progresives Congress (APC) convention, there was a rumour the Igueben-born Chief Tom Ikimi was considering dumping the APC for his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).As the rumour rages, the Edo State chairman of PDP, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has said that the prominent politician “will be welcomed back to the PDP if he desires to return, especially now that Edo people are eager to effect a change in the governmentof the state by voting out APC and voting in PDP.“At a time like this, all hands mustbe on deck and we’re prepared to accommodate all those who’re genuinely concerned about the poor state of affairs as per the governance of the state today. I can assure you that if he decides to join us, the Igueben people willbe very happy; the Esan people will be happy and the Edo people will be happy.” he said during an interview with our reporter. However, the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Comrade Godwin Erhahon, while reacting said Chief Ikimi’s planned defection from the APC back to the PDP would not effect on the electoral fortunes of the two political parties.“The first thing is to examine the justification for his leaving (the APC). If he is leaving because of the convention, he has said that he never even submitted his nomination form. He obtained nomination form; he didn’t fill it and never returned it, which means at that congress he was nota candidate. So, what would be the justification for his leaving? Was he waiting to be endorsed first as a candidate before filling his form or was he waiting to be elected first?“It’s easy for somebody to just come out and engage in cheap blackmail as you’re seeing in Edo State now. He said in his letter that he bought N250,000 form. Hedidn’t fill it neither did he returned it. So, on what basis is hegoing to complain about the outcome of the convention in which he did not file nomination?”“APC will want you to ask Chief if actually he wants to leave whether his leaving will not affect his own fortune? Right from his days in the ACN, it is only in elections where Oshiomhole contested as a candidate that he was able to win his ward and localgovernment. As we speak, the member of the House of Assemblyfrom his constituency is of the PDP.It is certain that he has been riding on the popularity of Oshiomhole, you now ask yourself, if he now leaves APC howwill he be relevant in the system? Even if PDP wins his area, they have been winning it since he wasnot with them; so of what value will he be to them?“I’ll advise him not to go and rubbish whatever is left of his reputation or political career. In the APC, there was a lot of consideration. First, our national leadership said anybody who has had a stint with the PDP should not be made our number one citizen. That disqualified him. Chief Oyegun has been on the side of the progressives since he entered politics. Right from the onset, our prayer has been that anybody who is not sincerely with us, God should get such person out. I pray that Chief Tom Ikimi does not become one of them.“If anybody is a hustler hopping from one party to another, so be it. But I believe that Ikimi, at this age, should be above that. I just pray for Chief Ikimi that God should lead him to whatever direction. If he chooses to go under (Chief Tony) Anenih again, Iwish him well. One thing that I can assure him is that there is nowhere else that he can be the Lord as he was in the APC. Wherever he goes his status will drop although they may pretend to be honouring him as a responsible leader.”

Na today. Chief Tom Ikimi, like any other Nigerian is free to make that choice. APC thank him for his efforts towards the party and the Nation, and wish him well he decide to move on. But the quest redeem Nigeria from the claws of the killer party will not end. God bless Nigeria.

I hereby designate APC as a terrorist movement.

With this proclamation it seizes to be a political party.

APC is now considered illegal and unconstitutional organization.

Therefore, anyone that claims a member of this terrorist movement shall be prosecuted and punish accordingly, no matter how highly placed in the society.
