Lawal, who is a member of Nigeria Foootball Federation (NFF) Technical Committee, said the lack of a strong bench was reinforced by Keshi's indecision on who to substitute Ogenyi Onazi, after the midfielder copped an injury in the second half, following a bad tackle by Blaise Matuidi.

''If Keshi had knowledge of tactics it would have reflected after Onazi was injured and the coach did not know what to do. It shows he either lacked confidence in the players on the bench or his reserve players were of low quality. Keshi kept thinking before changing when faced with such a simple task. He selected the players and must take responsibility if they were not good to be on the bench,'' Lawal fumed.

He described the loss to the French as painful given that the match was an open contest which Nigeria could have won if they showed character, tactical discipline and had remained focused instead of bickering over money.

I completely agree

Keshi should not be allowed to carry on grand standing over contracts as if he got all his decisions right

He did not. If Keshi wants to carry on as eagles coach then he needs to demonstrate that he has learnt from his mistake.

We did not have to take Ramon Azeez to world to realise that he is not World Cup ready. If Keshi watched enough of his matches at Almeria he would have realised this.

I still can't understand why Ogude was not in the 30 man list or why Igiebor was not in the 23. Igiebor would have been a good substitute for Mikel when Mikel starts failing.

And then the Sunday Mba story makes no sense at all. If we were a serious country even if Mba was stupid about his travel documents someone within the NFF admin would have picked up on it. Footballers are there to play football, if you want to take them to foreign country then an expert is supposed to check that they have all the right documents to make that journey. Did anyone call Mba to confirm this ? Am sure the answer is NO! To now drop a key player for such ridiculous reason is simply self defeating

These are questions Keshi should answer rather than all the grand standing!
