I have NO doubt that majority of Nigerians LOVE to be SLAVES! If the whiteman (British) did not lead the effort to stop slavery, Nigerians would more than be happy to continue to be slaves! The end of slavery had nothing to do with the ENSLAVED to stop it, can you imagine that? What it means is that the person who was benefitting from slavery stopped it while the people who are being killed, roasted, sold, abused, etc did nothing! Can you imagine that? Nigeria was granted independence due to the effort and agitation of a FEW Nigerians, I mean few! At the very top that group was one man who refused ANY reason to wait for another day for independence: Chief Obafemi Awolowo. If you are a kid who does not know history, please read before you write stupid things about this fact. Of course, Chief Awolowo had lieutenants (many to name) but he had "partners" in the East and North! The difference was that Azikiwe in the East was willing to accept "conditions" such as waiting for the North who were not ready and comfortable to remain under colonization for longer to be "ready".

Now, what did Nigerians do to Chief Awolowo? They put him on false charges for treason and till today they are still complaining! This is why Nigerians will always be slaves! The British knew that Awolowo's ideas would emancipate the black man (Nigeria) from subjugation, and they rigged the first elections and census to give the north the majority which is still disputed today, so that they can control Nigeria by proxy!

Enter Chief M. K. O. Abiola. Ungrateful, slavish Nigerians killed him and today, they deride the same man whose blood practically brought Nigeria the longest run of democracy till today!
