A report by The Cable indicates that about thirty
of the over 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram
from Government Secondary School, Chibok in
Borno state have escaped.
According to the source, the information came
from a military source on Wednesday, July 9,
2014.
The military source who spoke on condition of
anonymity, confirmed that two other Boko
Haram captives — a boy and a 10-year-old girl —
also escaped.
“All 32 escapees and the hunters who helped
them to escape are currently with soldiers,” he
said.
