Dexron II or III for ATF. Use Oando
Dexron II is 800, III is 1k per litre.

Any good quality 5w30 engine oil will be Ok. Full synthetic or synthetic blend will do.

U want finish ur gear abi....no near dextron....if I hear dextron again I go vex...oil wey spoil my gear....toyota 1998 to 2006 use type iv transmission oil....comes in a 4 liter container for 6 or 7k.....nd also tiny 1 litre container at 1500 if u buying the smaller one u'll need four....ciao

Oga dis is practical not theory...I used dextron b4 it will behave like it's okay but after a while u'll realise ur gear aint responding well.....not until I tried the type iv atf....

Bro, if you are in Lagos, please where did you buy the type iv atf?

U can get it at Mandilas co....at oba arrange or ikeja..they are authorised toyota servicing company....nd some local oil dealers sell it too..

You must have used the adulterated Dexron III that's more available than purewater in our markets.

I have only replaced the transmission oil on my '99 ride once. I think it was an Abro dextron 2 the Mech used (not certain now).
The Engine oil is the one I buy myself, Mobil 1. Once I'm heading to the mech's for servicing, I branch into Mobil station and pick one can (the last I bought was almost 8k ).
Five years down the line, the car still runs like mint, never had any single issue with Engine/transmission

Now i understand that my 08 camry is meant to use a WS gear oil. Will i have any issue using this gear box that uses T iv gear oil on my camry 08?
