Having watched the third place match between Brazil and Netherlands in the on going 2014 world cup, and every other final or third place matches, I discovered that the officials, referee and his assistances are usually awarded medal, just like the winning team players and the coaches, " Why are the referees that refer final given medal" this is question that comes to my mind. What happens to the other referees that refer other games in the tournament. Does it mean the awarded referees are the best or what? Let's share our opinion here. Thanks.
