Clean a car interior by yourself

- Start with interior vacuuming. Vacuum the cabin, floor mats and seats.

- Take out seats for easier vacuuming and cleaning. Clean them section by section, applying the cleaning agent to small areas and wiping before going to the other part.

- Clean the interior using brushes and the special detergents recommended for rubber or fabric.

- Use a wet microfiber cloth to clean the doors inside and interior parts without leaving stains. Let the interior dry.

- Clean mirrors and windows with wet high-quality microfiber materials to ensure the elimination of any streaking traces.

Factors that Affect Car Handling

There are some factors that can affect your car handling.

The suspension is important to make sure your tires stay down on the ground at all times.

High performance tires are good if you want to increase handling.

Shock absorbers absorb energy, that your car causes while it is in motion.

External forces also can affect the handling of your car. When it rains, it creates a slippery surface and makes the roads dangerous.

Aerodynamics can also affect your car's handling. The faster your car goes, the more downward force it creates. Cars use this force to increase handling.

How to check your car carburetor

A carburetor can get "varnished" from sitting after a few months. This varnish coats the inside of the float bowl and cloggs the jet passages. It's pretty easy to tell if your carb is varnished. Remove the engine flame arrestor (engine off!) and give the carb a good sniff. If the carburetor smells like varnish it will have to be rebuilt.

Simply spraying carb cleaner into the carb will not fix a varnished carb. It must be completely disassembled, scrubbed clean and reassembled.

Water in the fuel is a very common problem. Remove the fuel filter(s) and dump them into a clean bucket. Look for evidence of water in the fuel. If you find water in the fuel and you suspect that it has gotten into the carb, the carburetor will have to be removed and rebuilt.

Another common carburetor problem is a stuck choke. The choke should be closed when the engine is cold and open when the engine is fully warmed up. Make sure the choke mechanism is free and properly adjusted.

How to Change an Air Filter
Pop the hood and locate your air filter.
Some air filter enclosures are secured by snaps, others by screws.
Use a Igbo to pry open the snaps or unscrew said screws.

Protect your new filter in place and snap up or screw closed the case.
Close the hood and congratulate yourself on a quick and easy job well do

Cars are machines and can get depreciated faster if certain steps are not taken. Also, if an automobile part fails or becomes defunct, ignorance on your part will only add to the magnitude of the damage. It will also jeopardize the driver’s safety and shall bring down the expected age of the car. So, it goes without saying that maintaining a vehicle is as important as looking after a pet. It needs care and period inspections by a vet (in this case, a car mechanic).

How to take care of car properly?
ntelligent car washing: It may seem like a basic tip but it is baffling the way it is ignored by many. Perhaps, procrastination also comes into play since the modern man’s lethargic mindset and the seeming insignificance of ‘washing’ may detrimentally harm the car. While prima facie, washing removes the accumulated dirt and dust, it also prevents the erosion of the car’s protective coating. The presence of hard dirt and sometimes chemically-infested droppings or liquids may dissolve the outer coating, wax or paint of the car. Also, it is vital to wash the car intelligently, which is a clear implication on use of a proper cleaner instead of resorting to the household detergent. Detergents can often do more harm than good and it is advisable to clean the car with an exclusive cleaner.

Skipping scheduled repair or service:

By default, your car needs a scheduled service every few months. Some people have the habit of pushing the service date either because of laziness or unconcern or because of the impulsive desire to not to spend the money. There are several parts of a car and many of them cannot be checked by you and indispensably require professional intervention. If such minor parts are not repaired or if you ignore the period scheduled checking, you may also lose out on the warranty or guarantee policy. So, a rational buyer must also add this point to his list of priorities.

5 Convenient Games to Keep the Kids Entertained In the Car

Not everyone’s car is equipped with a DVD player and that’s why we have compiled a list of 5 convenient games to keep the kids entertained during errands, long drives, or even road trips! These games will keep the kids amused and happy; and you calm and less distracted – what more can you ask for? Try them out, we promise you won’t regret it!

Scavenger Hunt

Before the road trip, write a list of items to look out for during the ride. They can be anything that you expect to see, from a tractor to a horse. Check it off the list as you see them. You can work together with your kids or set up a competition between them. This game is especially entertaining for younger children, and it is helpful for those who get car sick from not looking out the window.

Aluminium Foil

Aluminum foil is a simple yet versatile item to bring on a road trip that has a lot of potential for creative minds. Because foil is pliable and durable, it can be moulded into all sorts of objects, such as a funky hat or a toy cat, and then used to play with afterwards. Children will enjoy this hands-on activity that is both economical, reusable, and mess-free.

Memory Game

This fun memory game needs nothing but your memory! One player starts off the game from the beginning of the alphabet by saying, “I went on a road trip and I brought apples” then the next player would say “I went on a road trip and I brought apples and bananas”. The third player will repeat the same thing but add another word that begins with a C, and the cycle continues. Can your children get through the alphabet while remembering all the items everyone is bringing?
