I have to agree with this. Tyson was great but he did not fight a great pool of boxers like Ali did. Ali had three fights with Frazier, one memorable fight with the Foreman (arguably the hardest boxer of all time), beat the legendary Sonny Liston, Ken Norton. The 60s and 70s produced the best generation of heavyweight boxers and Ali fought them all.

Some argued that Tyson had woman troubles before his fight with Buster Douglas but that was nothing compared to the drama Ali faced during the Thrilla in Manilla fight with Frazier when he went to Manilla with his girlfriend. His wife saw his girlfirend being introduced to Ferdinand Marcos as his wife and flew straight to Manilla. Ali still fought a gruelling 15 rounds with Frazier and won.

Marciano was no great boxer; he fought for the mob.
