Please house,
I completed my imputation and submitted on step 3 of WES unofficial transcript evaluation around 3am or there about today.
This is 7am and I haven't seen any email of the result.

Does it take much time, when should I be expecting it? Couple of days, weeks, hours?

Should I go do another one?

Thanks for helping out guys in anticipation

[quote author=solihp post=76482236]I got admitted into American University for both their MS Biostatistics and Statistics. If I was to attend I would have chosen the Biostatistics as it was the best match for me in all the schools, I am actually drawn to it. However, I was given a teaching assistantship position with some funding that is inadequate. Pretty sad about this particular offer sad sad sad[

Congrats dear, you will surely get full funding

I have been trying to contact B.Y.Mafit for more than 2 weeks now but their numbers are always either busy or unavailable. I want to register for TOEFL for March ending. I need to make some clarifications before paying. I might just look for another option.

Maybe you're calling after 5pm or on weekends. As expected, their numbers are always busy. I'll suggest you call the different numbers on their site during working hours. At least one will not be busy.

What you need to know about GRE (Graduate Record Examination)
GRE

Target audience: Prospective graduate students across all disciplines.

Required by: Graduate schools and departments.

Purpose: GRE scores are used to assess the suitability of applicants for graduate-level study across many different subject areas. Some departments may ask applicants to take one of the GRE Subject Tests, while others require the General Test. The Subject Tests assess knowledge in a particular field, while the General Test assesses verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing.

Duration: Around three hours and 45 minutes (six sections with a 10-minute break after the third).

Test content: The GRE General Test (formerly the GRE revised General Test) is divided into three parts:

Verbal Reasoning: A mostly multiple choice section which tests candidates’ ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information; analyze relationships among component parts of sentences; and recognize relationships between words and concepts. (Two sets of 20 questions, each set lasting 30 minutes.)
Quantitative Reasoning: Mostly multiple choice, with a few questions requiring candidates to enter a number or conduct a quantitative comparison. This section tests ability to understand basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis, and to reason numerically. (Two sets of 20 questions, each set lasting 35 minutes.)
Analytical Writing: Two essays. The first asks candidates to put forward a perspective on an issue; the second requires an analysis of an argument. This section tests candidates’ ability to articulate ideas, present supporting evidence and use the English language correctly. (Two separately timed essays in one hour).
Unscored sections: An unidentified section and/or a research section may be included. These are used by the test provider to develop new questions or for other research purposes, and do not affect candidates’ scores.

Scoring: Candidates receive a score for each section. Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning are measured on a scale of 130-170, in 1-point increments. Analytical Writing is scored on a scale of 0-6, in half-point increments. You cannot pass or fail the GRE, but universities and departments may require specific scores. If you are unhappy with your scores, you can re-take the GRE (once every 21 days and a maximum of five times over a 12 month period, or as often as it’s offered if taking the paper-based test).

When sending score cards to admissions departments, you can use the ScoreSelect option to choose whether to include only your most recent score, or all scores from the previous five years. You can choose up to four institutions to send score reports to, or more for an extra fee. Results can be canceled immediately on completing the test.

Cost: US$205 everywhere except Australia where it is US$230, China ($220.70), Nigeria ($220) and Turkey ($255).

Valid for: Five years.
For more information about GRE you can contact us on ; 09072724271
Points to note: The GRE is only delivered in English. A paper-based version is offered at centers where the computer-based test cannot be delivered. Candidates sitting this version are allowed slightly longer for the Verbal and Quantitative sections.

Resources: The official site features sample questions and offers free software which simulates the test. Various third-party resources are also available, including free test prep from QS LEAP

CFA Level 2 candidate
I like to think that my essay was MADDDDD!!!!!
I got the offer less than two hours after my Skype interview with the director of the program. I probably impressed him.

Above all, I thank God that I got into the school. I also thank God for this thread and everyone that contributes to help other people.

My advise to hopefuls based on my experience is this; when you are given a scholarship offer, you can take the risk and ask for more before accepting the admission. For example, I was initially given a scholarship offer of 13.7% off my tuition but I sent an email to the admission director explaining that my family had been saving money ahead of my grad studies but crude prices fell and the naira has lost about 60% of its value... something along these lines...

Long story cut short, they increased the offer they gave me by 30%.
Imagine I was scared and didn’t ask, that would have cost me the 30% increase in the scholarship they offered me.... is your fear worth 30% ? Hahaha

Goodluck guys!

Have you ever taken the time to reflect on the most vital organ in your body? Do you even care about what affects this important organ negatively or positively? Or do you just eat whatever you like and think the organ will care for itself?

Good evening to you all.
please , my sister sent me her proposed interview that I should help guide her through.
I sincerely told her I have a backup of geniuses on this issue, I don't want to give one way advice/correction...

Please, help Me scrutinize this sirs/mas

God bless you!!! kiss

How did you know about this skul?
I did an extensive research on schools that offered my course of study at the undergraduate level, had a cost of tuition inline with my family budget using association and educational website's like allnurses.com,American nurses association and usnews.com

Why USA?
The quality of tertiary education in the USA is top notch and I need the best possible education for my undergraduate degree and after study plan..

What will you do with this degree?
Looking at the system of health in Nigeria this degree will eqip me adequately in creating a new view and improving the quality of health by innovating the skills and knowledge achieved into the Nigeria health sector, infact the Nigeria government and the Nigeria education institution are my main focus, where I will target and shoot into when I come back to Nigeria because partnering with this two sectors will together create a stronger and healthier Nigeria.

Who is sponsoring you?
My dad.

What does he do?he is a building contractor and he also sales building material and equipment.

Why are you going to USA?
For my bachelor's degree in nursing at xyz university.

Why nursing? I voluntary work for some health organization in Nigeria,I was able to witness at first hand the problems of lack knowledge on how to care, protect and improve children health in rural communities, I want to have in depth knowledge on how to focus on the care of children, families and communities so they may attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life.

What your plan after study? I intend to continue with maters if my family can afford it or come back to Nigeria and use the knowledge I have gained during the course of studies to contribute to the health Sector.
