Latest news making the rounds has it that the South Korean electronic giant Lucky Goldstar (LG) just announced the launch of a humongous 105-inch curved TV built upon ultra-high definition Organic-LED display technology (and IPS variant). The “out-of –this-world” TV offers a display resolution of 5120x2160 which makes it the world’s first 5K TV! Another amazing detail about the TV is the sound production system designed by the popular Harman Kardon, spotting a 150Watts powered sound from 7.2 channel speaker. The 105-inch curved ultra-high definition display machine will also feature the modern webOS technology for internet access support and is expected to come at a thought-provoking cost of about $120,000 or N19.2million (not official yet), which definitely makes it an elitists’ TV and cost might be one of the contentions of this amazing device.
It’s expected to be available in Korea first and other regions to follow later.
