Exactly my thinking when i passed through there. That is like the equivalent of Ojota there, just for inter-city travel o. It will beat most airports in Nigeria

SmooshCHN: Spending 10months in China, I've noticed that their growth and development was achieved by determination. Back to their history, all what China has turned into now all happened between 24years. Good and determined leadership. They still have little problems but when I look at them, I discover Nigeria can be like this but Why not?? What's stopping us? It's owes to poor leadership.. It's painful that we have leaders who only care about their pockets.. I hope Nigerians would drop their thinking and come out to see we have lots to achieve if only we'd stop these leaders treating us like Pigs.. A Chinese once ask me "how many Universities are in Nigeria??" The question touched me cos I know he felt we were nothi ng then he said 10??
I told him we had over 100 then he said Why come to China, I said I wanted to get More.. but then deep down I know what made me left..
Seeing their Transportation Network, Nigerians deserve More, Nigerians Deserve More.. Imagine a government that can't even provide security.. Sincerely it might take Decades before things would change positively.. I just wish these Old and Selfish leaders would be scrapped..

chinese are good copiers ..the stations and trains are similar to the German High speed trains, the chinese came to German and europe , they have managed to copy everything they saw and learned but we Nigerians are good in just taking pictures and walking arrogantly over the place ...We Nigerians are good copier of evil practice and fashions and taking pictures of world wonders ..we never learn the good things of the world or even try to copy . a disgrace to the black race !!!!!

Chinese manufacture and constructed all the edifice and train coaches with little or no foreign help. What can we (Nigerians) do on our own, when we are importing ordinary toothpick. Why are we envy?

China's progress is a result of the hardwork of both its goverment and citizen. But here goverment is not ready to do anything and citizens on the other hand doesnt care to do his part.
Unless we develop(or copy) our own technology, unless we can build everything on our own, we cannot be anywhere behind a country that build almost everything by itself. We add billions to their economy every year by buying tech stuff from them, contract them for construction works etc.
Unfortunately, our leader only trust in Agriculture(which they mostly pay lip service to), they only want us to be self-sufficient in agriculture but not technology.

dude you only told half of the story, you excused the 'followers', the masses, the people in general (or you mean to tell me only the "leaders" make and develop a country? )..I refuse to blame the "leaders" only..wasnt it in nigeria that a group of hooligans destroyed a railway station just because the fees were a little high (according to them)....is that how civilised followers/people behave?..the little the leaders develop, the people foolishly destroy and you want me to believe only the leaders have a hand in what is plaguing the country? ?

Each and every Nigeria has a roll to play in development and sustaining development. Even it a railway station such as the Guangzhou nan is buit, Nigerians will so mess up the place, even b4 you know it criminals will start robbing aboard the trains.

We are complaining of bad roads, even when the government constructs a decent road dual iced road before you know it some unscrupulous elements will dump refuse on the median. Is it sane?

If all Nigerians and Londoners are exchanged you'll find out that fastforward 10 years Nigeria will look like London and London like Nigeria.

And sum pple will be praising mediocrity; Enugu airport is made up of Gold, GEJ is working, it is APC that are pulling him down... I pity all of u, and the most painful aspect of it is that this pple praising our corrupt leaders are the one suffering most, if u see where they live, what they eat.... Give a man a fish and he would run out of it. Teach him how to fish and he'll never go hungry. A father has to provide for his children before he complains of their stupidity. People suffer, hardly being able to avoid 3square meals transportation is unbearable, they made is so expensive when they know people can't afford it. If you think they government has done enough I'd advise you go find out the primary responsibility of a Leader.
