I don't really know what you mean but if you mean application/vacancy, I posted one a few days after this thread was created.

ChelseaKings: Phahahahahahahhahahahaahahahaha... Bros make una no vex o. I wan carry my own confusion come as we dey confuse ourselves dey go with BSc eng n B.Eng dey wait for BH. But una bad guy o. See as u just finish me for here. U for use style do am na. But notin do U my guy.

Correct. Na me like your comment o.

What a Faculty decides to call its degree is largely at the discretion of the faculty board, and its curriculum is tailored as to reflect what it seeks to award. Science finds the way to do something, Engineering/Technology does that thing.

Shocker - Bachelor in the Art of Engineering is awarded by the University of Dublin.

Once again, na me like your comment o.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
How could anyone be so confidently gabbling trash?
Three of Nigeria's five first-generation universities award Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in their faculties of Engineering (or Technology) - UI, OAU and UNILAG (ABU and UNN award B.Eng).

Is there any one university in Nigeria with more recent NUC and COREN accreditation than those three? OAU has 9 fully accredited academic programmes in that Faculty, UI has eight, UNILAG - nine with on-going accreditation for BSc Biomedical Engineering.

Haba, bros sufry sufry lie nah. And you did it with some distinctive and stylish elegance. On the positive side, you would most likely daze interviewers - with you confidence in ignorance.

U are the confused one here. Do u even know the full meaning of B.sc? How can u say an Engineering course of 5yrs is awarded B.sc after completion in Nigeria? I thought u're drunk or something till I read this post of urs. Haba! an accredited engineering dept graduate goes home with B.Eng mister. Stop confusing people cuz is no longer funny. If ur certificate says B.sc, u had better rush back to ur school for serious explanation. We have B.tech and B.Eng. Jesus Christ, wetin pesin no go see for nairaland ni! Wayo!!!!

Mind u, a university of technology engineering awarded degree is difference from that of a University, maybe that's where ur confusion is coming from. A university doesn't award a straight b.eng, buh a university of technology does...that's where ur confusion is coming from

I have no problem with anyone questioning what I seem to be very sure about, what I have an aversion for is not wanting to learn given the so many facts there are to learn from. Please, click on these links, please do!

UI: http://tech.ui.edu.ng/
UNILAG: http://engineering.unilag.edu.ng/index.php/courses

I would have posted a certificate from a third university but that would definitely mean not given you due credit for your intelligence and capability to learn. You deserve better than being tagged a #pictureOrIDontBelieveIT guy.

But please, click on those links.

Again Bachelor in the Art of Engineering (BAI) is awarded by the University of Dublin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachelor_of_Engineering What do you say to that?

Tell them jare,..I just tire oh,...whatever your degree is called, 90% will teach in second sch in NYSC, and you wil all write gmat/shl/whatever and be interviewed before you get a job. Work on yourself and forget your damn BSc or B.Eng...Your 2'1 is probably a key to open a door to a room, when you all enter the room the best brains/people will be picked for the job.

hey people,
I have noticed this BSc., BEng. argument for a while now and I think it is rather no worth an argument. I was awarded a BSc in Electronic and electrical engineering in one of the most prestigious universities in Nigeria. Notwithstanding I have friends with varied version of the same degree (B.Tech Electronics/Electrical engineering , BEng Electrical and Electronics engineering e.t.c).
I would say it is not a bad thing not to know that engineers are awarded BSc (I mean "Engineers"wink. However, if you do not know, kindly try to do proper research before you criticize those with fact.

On a lighter note, BSc, BEng, BTech all join na work we dey find grin

Wait for that one. Relax. They will call when its time. As a matter of fact, some of my friends are still on waiting list from last April recruitment. It was just last week here that a certain division were told that they will resume by Sept. and not all got that message, which means some don't even know when they will resume, though they have gotten their offer letter. Until they finish with those guys, I don't think they will start calling. cool

I believe your friends were recruited for Field Specialist which is very different from Field Engineer in terms of recruiting. BHE was held last year in October, and successful guys resumed in February this year. So there's always a timetable. Same for this year. Expect phone interviews invite by August ending or September.

First of all SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY..put on your labcoat, googles and gloves.. Take a quick look at the manual..put ur litmus paper in water then place it in the ph meter to balance the meter(since the pH of H20 is 7) then test for the acidic/alkanic liquid..always return ur ph to 7 after each reading and ofcuz be time concious

Very good bro, really impressing, and also the tissue should be used to soak out reagents from the tube of the pH meter to avoid contaminating the next chemical to be tested.

first : only a small number would be contacted , then a phone interview and then assessment centre . at the assessment centre, one would write some short numerical test. I guess you were expecting some chams city or thousands of invitation kind of test. I dont think they do that. initial screening starts from the application sent .
