a very close friend of mine got re-deployed to Kaduna. As of yesterday, she told me she was at the secretariat but they were not attended to due to the fact that PHCN refused to do their work and the laptops need electricity to function. She told me she had to go back to her uncle's house by 4pm.

Sources from the headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps have revealed that in a bid to ensure the utmost safety of corps members to be utilized in next month Adamawa bye-elections, the Director General of the corps Brig-General J. B. Olawunmi has said that bullet-proof vests, armed escorts and payment of attractive allowances are compulsory for utilized corps members.

The source said that NYSC would not take any position on whether to release corps members or not until those conditions given to INEC were substantially met.

Ofcourse I never meant to mislead my fellow Corp Members that contacted me lately about the Stream2 new Saga. Well, We've now made an official confirmation from the Ogun State Coordinator through the LGI at the NYSC Secretariat about this. This is Freaking Real now. They are moving all our files/folders down to our respective camps to perhaps make some attendance updates. Im afraid our refusal to show up might result in some very serious penalty.

"The 2014 Batch B Stream2 corp members are now participants of the 2014 Batch C Orientation Exercise scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 4th Of November, 2014 to be held in the respective State Orientation Camps where corp members are currently serving"

I am a 2015 Batch A PCM

I have been posted to Adamawa State but have been asked to report at Taraba State on June 2.

Please, I need you to clarify some issues for me:

1. How do I go about the redeployment? Is any report necessary?
2. When is the redeployment gonna take place? (During or after the camp)
3. Was your August allawee (Will my May allawee be) paid since you were in stream II?
4. If I sucessfully redeploy, where do I go to in the new State of redeployment?
5. What are the challenges you encountered after redeployment and how were you able to tackle them?

Congratulations @ abrahamson..Wish u and other A15 PCM journey mercies to and fro camp...In response to ur questions,
1. U don't need to make or take any reports along with u as u can be redeployed based on Insecurity..When u gt to camp, after all registrations, Corp members who are willing to redeploy will be given a form...There's a column where u 'll be asked to state the reason for redeployment, just write Insecurity...U 'll also be required to state ur choice of state..U might be lucky to be redeployed there or neighbouring state..
2. 2nd week in camp max, the form will be made available.
3. We were paid the August allowee of recent...Moreso, when u successfuly redeployed, for the first three months, ur state of original deployment (Adamawa) will be d 1 to pay u..
4.After sucçesful redeployment, u will report to The State Nysc secretariat of where u are redployed to..its always in d state capital..The date will be specified too..There, u ll have to go through some registrations too..U 'll be given a new state code no, u 'll register in d book of life, etc and finally, u 'll be posted to ur PPA. When u receive ur posting letter, u ll av to report at your PPa, make copies of ur posting letter..There u 'll be given either acceptance Or rejection letter.Whichever one u are given, u 'll take it to the LG where ur PPA is..At the LG, u will be directed to wat next.
5. No much challenges except for the stress during registration at the new state of redeployment and lobbying for a favourable PPA..
