Yes, federal republic of Nigeria, under Jonathan , should take a proactive step by PLACING A BAN ON ANY HIJAB OR ISLAMIC COVERING GEARS, In public places. It was suppose to be a religious wear, now it has been abused and has become a weapon for mass murder.

I hope short sighted leaders in Nigeria will not be sentimental by saying " oh it will offend Muslims " , while their cowardice won't allow them to offend Moslems, Boko haram, will be taking advantage of it.

Nigeria is a secular state and should act like one. When people behave like animals, you treat them like one. China, banned all that crappy fasting in their country and any other Islamic stuffs that doesn't sit well with the safety of the nation, cos they put the interest of their country first. France banned hijab & other Islamic gears. Jonathan, pls save lives by banning Islamic hijab. If he can't do it, governors in the southern Nigeria should ban Moslem girls from wearing all that their stuff.

There is nothing wrong with covering of oneself eapecially our female folks. But recent happenings have given room for concern. Anything done out of moderation is not good at all, especially in our present time. Any one who wants to wear the full hijab should rather stay at home or still indoor.
Covering of head to bosom is okay enough. Any full body covering is extremism, and the govt should watch out for this category of people, and their husbands as well.
Nobody can feel at ease any longer with a full hijab woman in the same commercial bus.
I do think some form of legislation is needed against this especially at this time.
This submission has nothing to do with religion at all. On the contrary, moderate hijab for muslim women is a pride to womanhood.
