Do you really think Andrew's liver salt (magnesium sulfate) prevent pregnancy? No doubt there are many people using this drug as an emergency contraceptive. If you enquire about the mechanism of action, they will end up telling you it flush the sperms (semen) out of the body. Is this true? I can remember a day i went to a chemist to buy postinor and the chemist man told me to add Andrew's liver salt to make it effective, but I say no. It's never use for pregnancy prevention. Let's look at the uses of Andrews liver salt. Hypomegnesemia, constipation, cardiac arrest, pretem labour, eclampsia , pre-eclampsia and indigestion. People are just taking this drug ignorantly. It doesn't prevent pregnancy, but if it works for you let us hear you.
