Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, has accused one of its pastors, Lawrence Okechukwu Amuruche of telling lies against the leadership of the church with his claims that he sought assistance for an eye surgery and was instead given anointing oil and water.



Lawrence Amuruche, 61, who cried out for help after the anointing oil, water and prayer points allegedly given to him by the General Overseer of MFM, Dr Daniel Kolawale Olukoya failed to stop the cataract growing in his eyes.
Amuruche, who pastors the Alakija, Satellite town branch of the MFM, said the cataract had already grown on one eye and threatening to start growing on the second eye if medical help does not come fast.
He had visited the Sun head office in Lagos with a copy of the letter written to the church for help. He told his story as a way of reaching out the General Overseer and other Nigerians who may want to help and save him from going blind.

the church summoned Amuruche to its headquarters. He was asked to retract his claims in the report to earn forgiveness of the church or risk sanctions.

I laugh. You don't know how unreachable these men are ?

I am ashamed what people call church leaders these days. Many of them are so full of themselves. Tell me why haven't they given the man money yet for his eye surgery before coming on the media to threaten him ?

Are they his God ?
