As part of measures to check the spread of Ebola virus, the Federal Executive Council(FEC) has directed the Federal Government to make whole body scanners available at designated ports of entry into the country.

The council issued the directive in Abuja, yesterday during the Emergency Council on Health meeting which deliberated on the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).

FEC also directed that the Federal Government should assist the states governments to establish isolation tents that would cater for at least 20 people.

It was equally resolved among members of the council that transportation of corpses of Ebola victims into the country and across state boundaries should remain banned except for cases approved by the apex health ministry.

Lastly, the council advised states governments to make legislations to support FEC’s resolution on Ebola stressing that all persons confirmed to have died of EVD in the country must be buried in accordance to the protocols of World Healt Organization(WHO).

For the first time, Jonathan and his army of clueless and inept ministers are thinking, I sincerely hope this will be implemented and not a propaganda.
