Business Development Executive

A leading Engineering firm in the Oil and Gas sector is seeking the services of an experienced Business Development Executive

Responsibilities and Duties

• Seek information on potential upcoming engineering jobs from Major F & P Companies. Government regulations (NIPEX, NAPIMS, DPR etc) Major EPC Contractors etc prepare a list of all available opportunities.
• Regular review of the list of project opportunities mentioned above and ranking of the projects opportunities to identify projects with highest potential of wining and concentrate efforts in pursuing them as main targets.
• Prepare a comprehensive list of contact persons in Major E & P Companies, Government Regulators (NIPEX, NAPIMS, DPR etc), Major EPC Contractors etc based on most recent organization structures of these companies.
• Complete/update registration with all necessary bodies – NIPEX, COREN, DPR, E&P Companies etc. as required by law.
• Watch out for upcoming prequalification, technical & commercial tendering exercises in National Newspapers NIPEX’s website, etc and prepare responded to them.
• Provide a business development and business acquisition capability for the company. This will entail establishing key contacts with the oil and gas operating companies and large EPC companies, etc. with a view to obtaining continuous flow of work from these entities.
• The Project Engineer shall be part of the Company’s management team and attends all operations meetings of the Company.
• Coordinate and maintain customer billing
• Achieve set revenue and profit targets as agreed
• Complete other duties as may be assigned

Qualification & Experience
• BSC/HND in any Engineering- related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Strong personality and ability to lead, control and co-ordinate activities even at technical levels.
• Excellent oral, written communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
