We are all made in different ways, my advice to chubby ladies, eat good hygienic meals and do some exercise to keep fit. Have some self esteem and confidence. Believe in who you are and don't look down on yourself.

Health: I've enrolled in the gym not cos I wanna lose weight but cos I began to feel lazy at some point. According to my mum, I used to "drag" myself about. But strangely enough, I added a bit of muscle, lost just a little fat, still weigh the same and feel much lighter than I used to. I run on the treadmill 1.5hrs three days a week. So it's good to be fit for health sake especially.

Diet: Truth be told, the eating habits of some fat people can make you puke. Why drink 50cl Pepsi when you can drink water which is better? Why eat three rolls of fufu when you can eat noodles and veggies? The worst scenario is at eateries. It's only fat girls who buy ice cream in tubs. When I walk into an eatery, I'm terribly conscious of what I buy not because of people but because of me. I hardly even eat at these fast food places cos the snacks are loaded with crazy calories. I prefer to eat at places that serve actual meals; they're more expensive but healthier. And please stop eating after 7pm.

Clothing: Now this is a big issue. Most of us fat ladies don't know just how to dress up. Why the hell would I squeeze myself into a Lycra dress and wear a pair of G-strings underneath? Just because a stick-thin girl wore it and looked good doesn't mean you'll look good as well. Clothes made with sturdy fabrics like cotton, gingham or denim sit better on a larger frame. They give structure. And one trick lots of fat ladies don't know is UNDERWEAR is key. I've always been a fan of corsets and maybe that's why my fat body has always had a certain shape to it all these years. Wear great underwear.

Poise: Funny enough, I used to manage pageant models back in university days. I had a team and we basically trained the girls on everything about pageants. One snotty lekpa biyatch was looking down at me cos of my size. But boy, was she shocked to see me don a pair of 6 inch heels and catwalk! To all my fattybombom sisters, please practise walking sexy and smart until it becomes part of you. When you waddle it makes men think that you're pregnant.

Character: It's better to have a beautiful heart than be beautiful. It takes a discerning mind to perceive a beautiful soul. Work on your character. Stop being judgmental. I know it's hard but it's do-able. I used to feel any man who talked to me was desperate or a user but when I changed that mentality I realized some men really don't mind you being fat. My cousin's sexy as hell model-thin wife told him to start using Viagra cos he wasn't performing to her standard (the biyatch was cheating). They say marrying a beautiful or handsome spouse is like cooking ofe owerri with your own pot in a public kitchen; people go wan stretch hand to taste am small. Marry someone with a good heart cos looks fade but good character stays forever.
In general, just package yourself well and leave the rest for God. Don't be a slob; take your bath, use good toiletries not Ausa perfume, keep teeth white and breath fresh. Fat, slim, what really matters is health. It is good to have a good body image, but if your weight poses health risks, then for goodness sakes change your diet and lifestyle.

That being said, I came out of the womb chubby. It was really tough growing up in a neighbourhood full of skinny kids. The funnny thing is the taunts by kids and adults alike only helped to toughen me rather than break my confidence. Now, as an adult, woes betide anyone who makes fun of my size. When I'm done chewing their head, I usually leave them shaken and sober.
