As we know that gateway 3ds firmware has been updated to OMEGA V2.3b last week. with the new gateway 3ds firmware, you can play all the 3ds games on your 3ds and 3ds xl console, including the V8.1.0-19 3ds games and you can also play 3ds games online with the new gateway 3ds firmware. this post will tell you how to update your gateway 3ds card with the OMEGA V2.3b and play V8.1.0-19 3ds games.

Step 1 download the gateway 3ds latest firmware from here: OMEGA V2.3b

Extract it, you will see the blue card files and also the GW_OMEGA_2.3_BETA file.

Step 2 Put the blue card files to the root of your sd card and then use the blue card to set up the gateway 3ds blue card.

Step 3 Put the GW_OMEGA_2.3_BETA Launcher.dat file in the sd card which located on the 3ds side.

Step 4 Then go to system settings and click nintend ds profiles to access the gateway 3ds mode.

Step 5 This time put the gateway 3ds red card into the 3ds console, click A, the system would require you to update the gateway 3ds to the OMEGA V2.3b, then you can just follow the steps to update it.
