Personally i strongly feel marriage is optional. But first i will ask God if its his perfect will for me and if yes then my reasons will be

1. God's perfect will for me
2. Companionship in order to fulfil God purpose for our lives (for this reason shall a man leav mother and father and cling unto his wife and they two shall become one)

If i happen to get married, it would be for only ONE reason. . .to procreate. All that talk of happiness,love,bla bla bla is just fiction.When the novelty of what brought you both together clears away, it's the kids that keep the bond together.You folks can reach a little material from this website to see why i'm not excited about marriage.Women are completely impossible to please so i better stay single and enjoy my single/free life for as long as i can.

just went through most f your post and found out that

most people here are interested in marriage for Sex mainly and Procreation.

but sex and procreation is not the only reason for marriage,

i really believe that Love (happiness) is one of the main reason for marriage

when it comes to sex, you can always have it married or not.

but there is this love (happiness) and fulfillment if u are married with someone you really love.

@ ladylocs, there is no child that is not legitimate, people just use that word

when a child is born out of wed lock, but that does not make the child illegitimate.

every child has a right to the privileges anyother child enjoys as long as paternity or maternity can be determined
