For those of you making jest of the matter it is obvious you were not born when the civil war happened hence you can make jest of this. Let me warn you all this is going to be worst than the civil war if something is not done immediately cause unlike when it was the whole of nigeria fighting biafra, this time it will be north VS south and no one will be speared. It is time all these pastors show that they serve a living God and pray for this to end otherwise...

tivta: Could this be the same jet I saw on friday flying around the airport aimlessly? The colour is grey with a star on its tail, I swear when I saw this plane flying aimlessly for close to 30mins I was dead scared. Someone should pls list out the possible damage this plane can cause so that we all can be prepared to say our last prayer or run. This is not serious anymore it is deadly. If it means Johnathan should step down for peace to rain pls let him do so, he is playing politics with peoples lives oh. Am dead scared right now.

which airport are u referring to? yola?makurdi?or maiduguri?

Missing or presumed downed?
Military jets just don't vanish without a good reason.
Would not surprise me if the faceless Military sympathisers have simply put it out of action as it proved to be too effective. ..

Adindupeter: I don't want to imagine what will happen if it falls into the hands of bokoharam.
There's nothing to worry about or imagine. A fighter jet technology is way beyond the reach of BH. Check all their warfare tactics none ever has assumed the aerial dimension. The jet could have crashed as a result of a technical fault. Besides this is the first time Nigerian Jets are deployed for such missions as this in our long time of existence as a country. Most of our military hardware are rusty, outdated and needing repairs. Remember how azazi and Yakowa died? We just need to rescusitate our maintenance and repairs culture.

Just wondering how some people reason here...
Only 2 tinz could have happened to d jet
1. Exploaded mid air and killed both pilots
2. Crashed and both pilots ejected and havnt been found.

I have been thinking about this boko haram issue for a long while now and have come to a full conclusion that individuals within the North East are sponsoring them.
We read in reports that 80,45,50,100,150 etc boko haram members have been killed and the questions I ask are:
1. how do these numbers grow?
2.who are those who volunteer to join them?
3.how do these volunteers get paid?etc
We should stop looking outside the North East for the sponsors of boko haram but look within the North East. Their numbers are really growing and this should give us concerns.
Concerning the missing plane,it might have crashed or................let them keep looking.

I doubt if Boko Haram can take hold of this, and even if they capture the jet, remember, it is a jet and not a chopper. It requires a standard runway for take off.

Wake me up when BH create their own runway

Have u considered the option of a technical fault in its avionics? Fighter jets have one of d most complicated systems in aircraft construction. Even d so called 4/5th generation jets suffers fatalities in transit without any possible reason for attack...guy, dos A-Jets are nt dat new but have proven reliable, nevetheless, dnt rule out d possibility of a avionic flaw

I hope this is not true. Hope it is not hijacked by the sympathizers of Boko haram to unleash havoc of people. Else, I think the government should start from there then downward to fish-out the sponsors of the sect.
