Afghanistan:
It will be recovered. I'm very sure the sect don't even have a skilled pilot. It can take weeks to fully train one for the best and optimum usage of a fighter jet. By then, they would have been busted.

Pay and brainwash any Arabian pilot and see wonders.

Two things can happen:

1. The jet can crash, bearing in mind the poor maintainance culture in Nigeria

2. Boko Haram, with their RPGs and other sophisticated weapons can easily shoot down the plane. And remember that our fighter pilots have not seen war for a long time.

It has almost certainly crashed but shot down with unguided ordnance, RPG, AA guns is just impossible.

martyns303: A MILITARY jet is one of the most sophisticated aircrafts, how can it just vanish from radar without a clue as to where it is or it's last known coordinate or position? It wasn't making a flight over the Atlantic or over another country's airspace. And to think it's the only of it's kind the military has got. We are finished in this country, that jet better not fall on the wrong hands. This is the only country where things of such monumental magnitude as warships, jet, vessels, and billions of dollars just go missing. We will wake up one morning and find out that Nigeria is missing.
#BringBackNigeria. Hahaha. It is well. The jet either crashed or crashed. Even if BH has it, we still have anti aircrafts waiting for them. No cause for alarm.
Re: Defence Headquarter Declares Airforce Alpha Jet Missing by Koncept(m): 3:34pm On Sep 14, 2014
Terrible, its going to be fatal if its now possessed by the BH. So this president has succeeded in ruining this country with his indecisive, always-compromising and inactive style. Well, I just hope the BH guy will first try the F.Jet on Aso Rock and its occupants.

I don't think boko haram took the jet cos they will need an airstrip for it to land in one piece. They will also need a trained pilot to fly the jet if by any means they captured the missing alpha jet.

Military planes go missing in many countries due to a lot of factors; this is not a new occurrence exclusive to Nigeria alone.

Niger Delta ex militants are no longer armed and the military doesn't require new equipments to crush the militants in a matter of hours if a full frontal battle ensues. The top brass of northern origin on the other hand can not successfully carry out a coup alone. GEJ is not an enemy of the entire north. He has so many supporters from the north that want him back in 2015.

This is not 1967.

No way Guys......a jet can not just go missing. Is it a crime to defend your country again? If the Jet went on an unsuccessful mission it would have landed back safely. "Nigerian Motivational Message indeed"
