National Geographic Vs Discovery Channel by Ellyptical: 9:50pm On Nov 02, 2008
L+G,
I love Discovery Channel a lot but of recent, it seems National Geographic has been getting more of my viewing time. Outside love-vendor My Ride, Mythbusters and some other programs, I am almost always on NatGeo. Programs like Air Crash Investigation, Ancient Megastructures,  Super Carriers, Earth Investigated, America's Hardest Prisons , Ultimate survival etc are just too nice to allow me maintain my former loyalty to Discovery Channel. I still watch Discovery Channel's Crimes That Shook The World,  Wreck Rescue, Mythbusters, but i must confess i don't really like American Chopper and American Hot Rod.

What do you guys think?
Vote for you choice.

hi i think discovery is far better because, they have over 6 different channels(discovery channel, world, science, travel and living, health, realtime, animal planet).nat geo. has (nat geo. channel, wild, adventure, music, junior).so you see discovery has far more quality channels, never mind what you see on dstv.there are more discovery channel covering far more issues.

discovery, current tv and nat geo are all cool.

I used to watch Discovery channel when I actually had a lot to discover and a largely impressionable mind. I learnt a lot from the channel. NatGeo is more recent. I have an attachment with Discovery but objectively, it's really hard to choose
