Now this week, I received an offer from whytecleon to resume work with First Bank as a service executive.... pay is 85k with 15k wardrobe allowance every 3 month ....i applied with my HND.....


Now I am confused whether to resume work with First Bank on stay with UBA.... I'm confused

In my honest opinion Bro, I'll advise you to take the first bank offer because you have a shot at being converted to a full staff through recommendation and performance index... But UBA is totally outta it when it comes to retaining their contract staff because even some of their full staffs are still receiving contract staff salary and the management has been posting them for years with the promise of turning them to full staff...


First Bank pays more too and has good employee benefit, while UBA doesn't have employees benefits for their contract staff.

Be wise and build a career in an organization that will appreciate your effort.... The ball is in your court now.

First of all you need to know some vital piece of information (1) Is the first bank job a contract job or permanent staff job? (2) You should have the employment letter for the UBA job. If the first bank job is a permanent job,pls go for it but if it's the same contract job like that of UBA,you need to sit down, compare and contrast the 2 jobs viz a viz the salary,any training opportunity,work life balance,distance ,opportunity for promotion or conversion etc. PLEASE DON'T STOP ATTENDING OR WORKING AT UBA UNTIL YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON WHERE TO WORK.

The two persons above me have given you substantial insight to aid your decision...I would like to come in the area of pay since you mentioned it in your post...UBA mostly recruit for ND/HND holders and the pay isn't up what First Bank is offering, neither is there any additional benefit or allowance etc. Yes, you may be recruited as a staff though, but i assure you, your take home is less than or equal to 60k
