You have to Respect Tinubu for always trying hard to make a good case for where his interest lies. Tinubu still remains the best of Nigerian politician for he knows how to play his game coded. In this piece, have found over a thousand and one ways of knocking Tinubu out but, will just be by the ring side and watch for his loyalist to blow his trumpets and see how PDP replies. Politics seems entertaining when observed as a neutral. I see you honourable. |

Why are you not supporting the Revolution going on presently in Ekiti State? You even go further to bash them for their decision to chose Ayo Fayose as Governor for reasons best known to you. Children will always be children. For a revolution to proceed, it must appeal to 75% of the citizenry and not to politicians from any divide. How can any politician call for revolution of any sort after benefiting from the rot in the system? 13 Likes 1 Share |

lanrexdo: Let the truth be told, he said allot of meaningful things. BAT is a man and a politician. He knows allot about this country. You should know that allot of things has been happening on the federal level because the government has yet to tell how how the said $9.3 million got to SA? Those PDP can loot this our money ehn! Indeed. Yet the propensity for Nigerians to shoot the messenger means that they will dismiss even the most sensible utterance which speaks in their favour. The Government at the centre should be more accountable to Nigerians and Nigerians should ask pertinent questions. For example, we know some practises make the petroleum sector extremely corrupt and non-transparent. This suits the thieves profiting from how current state of affairs benefits a few but is disastrous for the progress of Nigeria. Mallam Ribadu in 2012, after a thorough and extensive investigation, charges the FG to immediately put an end to dubious practices abetting theft against Nigeria in the petroleum sector. Should Nigeria not busy themselves with asking why Jonathan has failed to implement the beneficial recommendations of Ribadu two years after the report was handed to GEJ? Should we, instead of defending the Presidency blindly due to ethnic or sectional sentiments, not have enough "common sense" to not that the unacceptably brazen inaction of GEJ, condemned worldwide, means he is likely one of those looting Nigeria in the background and thus deserving of ejection from office for Nigeria to move forward? In Ghana for example, the President is seen as a goner. Why? Because his actions and inactions are linked to the problems Ghana is now facing. No overwhelming ethno-religious spin just uniform acceptance that "this is an incompetent leader who must go". In Nigeria where our President is far worse and is leading a procession of corruption and ineptitude, every single issue must be tainted with ethno-religious and sectional bias however straight forward such is. Again haters are attacking the "Man" Tinubu and ignoring the message which I think contains every iota of truth...We can't keep making same mistakes all because some persons here want us to believe PDP = APC, I'd rather have us taste the other side of the divide and make choices based on experience rather than draw up conclusions already... We really need a " common sense revolution" 6 Likes 1 Share |

omenka: You should speak for yourself. Jagaban calls for "common sense revolution", and anyone who thinks it is "impossible" must be someone who has no sense at all. Indeed. What, for example, is wrong in asking Nigerians to focus on what matters and stop overlooking hideous misrule and deleterious corruption simply because "na our brother dey there" ? In 2012, they argued that savings from removal of fuel subsidy will save Nigeria and turn the nation into Dubai. This has not happened. Far from it. Why can Nigerians, if a politically sophisticated people focused on the right things, not use "common sense" to take the FG to task over the failed promises and under-utilisation of partial fuel subsidy removal savings? Why should Nigerians, always ready to fight others over ethnicity and religion, not be keen to unite and ask why GEJ refuses outright to implement recommendations that can revolutionise our petroleum sector for the better? So many things Nigerians need to use their "common sense" for yet this is not the case. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

An intelligent man who has 'risen above the muck' to speak intelligently. People can knock and hate Tinubu all they want but this, for a politically sophisticated polity, would not mean we abandon our "common sense" to ignore the terribly tragic reality of PDP misrule of Nigeria over 15 years through several Presidents. Tinubu did not make that up. It is real and the bottom line , for pragmatic Nigerians, is that a change is needed however some wish to hate Tinubu and detract from his truthful message with a crude attempt to vilify him rather than factually refute his utterances in relation to the need for Nigerians to confront 15 years of misrule. What, for exampl, has Tinubu or Buhari got to do with what is revealed below? http://www.skytrendnews.com/index.php/business/biz-economy/2524-special-report-by-neiti-indicts-fg-allegedly-bungled-multi-billion-naira-funds-premium-times

Not just the common sense of revolution but the actual, physical revolution if pdp led gov't will continue with its tribal and regional politics of exclusion capable of tearing the union built over time across the geopolitical zones. But the regret is the level certain youths have degenerated having been bought over with pea nuts to believe that the crumbs called development is the best the ruling party can offer at their detriment. The choice is ours to either allow ourselves to drifted over by lies of imaginary transformation agenda which could pass for mockery in other clime or take our stand and try something and someone new. We can't afford to do same thing and expect a different result. Is not about Apc is about a change everyone of us yearn and deserve. 4 Likes |

Gbawe: I can agree with you that Thief'nubu is also a failure. That is the end of our agreement as it should be obvious to anyone that Thief'nubu & Co is a GREATER failure in Lagos having amassed some N300 billion debts despite raking in N240 billion IGR from the pockets, wallets, bags and handbags of Lagos residents without providing the BASICS of modern life that you & your family take for granted in the UK where you are hiding along with so many other Lagosians. Basic things like => - TAP water - Primary, VOCATIONAL, secondary and TECHNICAL schools for ALL our children (despite receiving N6 billion [6,411,340,578.18] from the federal administration's UBEC for this purpose) - FEEDER roads under state & LGA constitutional responsibility Meanwhile the Jonathan/Sambo federal administration has increased our Excess Crude Account (ECA) by over 10 times from $400 million in September 2010 to $4 billion in August 2014 despite more transparent distribution to other tiers of government i.e. states & LGAs as well as in the face of sometimes dwindling oil revenue. This is an administration whose THOUGHTFUL approach to addressing our decades of rot is beginning to yield manifest fruits in several areas including: - federal roads - railways - steel - agriculture - territorial defence against TERRORISM - federal universities Slowly but surely many more will realise the stark difference beyond the PROPAGANDA noise of those who do not wish us well. BTW, I see you have returned to the use of red fonts after joining others to abuse me for doing the same. HYPOCRISY=APC=HYPOCRISY 9 Likes 2 Shares

If he has failed to achieve before, he will fail again. APC shouldn't take Nigerians for fools because they want power by all means.... 3 Likes 1 Share |
