Kalusam:
@Jethro, Do you know anyone in need of cassava in large quantities, a friend need buyers in his 10 hectare land at Egbeda, Ibadan
Its been tough selling cassava at present. My cooperative has 20 hectares that we have previously made arrangement for, but unfortunately the companies has been given one excuse or the other. In short they ask us to hold on that they have been running on a low Budget. This are companies that have been following up on the progress of the cassava from planting till now.
Pardon me for the long epistle, its to make you understand my plight at present.
I can send their contacts if you want so you discuss with them.
There is a general glut for cassava. We are hoping it will soon pick up. We pray

I am foreseeing a great demand in cassava soon. FG has finally concluded plans on HQCF and most flour mills are ready to comply. In the next few months the cost of fufu and garri will jerk up.

To the best of my knowledge, dried plantain chips or the flour isn't sold in most markets in oyo state, probably because of demand. Farmers that deal in it usually deal direct with those that bag.
You can get plantain in markets around farm areas @ around N300-N400 for a fairly big bunch. The price however varies with season.

I once had a stint with Esoko, I would appreciate tthe OP for a good job so far, it would be great if you cud include location as well as making it clear if ure quoting market or farmgate prices.

For those who may be a little confused, the way commodity prices change has been a major problem marketing agricultural produce.

Keep up the good work nd I like the way you handled some issues.

Good luck with your business.
