 The mother of an Ogun State House of Assembly member, Remmy Hassan, has been kidnapped by suspected gunmen in the Omu-Ijebu area of Ogun state. Speaking to PREMIUM TIMES over the telephone, Mr. Hassan said his mother was kidnapped from her home in Omu-Ijebu on Wednesday evening. “It’s correct, she was kidnapped not quite long and the police has been notified. Let’s leave it to the police,” Mr. Hassan a former deputy speaker of the Assembly told our reporter.
