I'm a DIYer though.

I'm not a trained or licensed mechanic. Where I live, mechanic rates are $50-$75 per hour hence need to self medicate.

DIY is not encouraged as it should be in Nigeria, partly due to 'big-man' mentality. People should be able to paint the inside of their houses for instance.

Why is every body DIY tools new, are you not using it.

By DIY I believe you mean Do It Yourself but what I see is more like a sophisticated auto-tech tools and shops.

They don know some of these jobs we do ourselves can cure high blood pressure amd reduce stress . These are highly therapeutic jobs .

Seriously? After 3yrs? Surprised to see it graced front page. I have really upgraded on my DIY tools. I can't remember the last time I visited the mechanic. YouTube is very invaluable too.
