Pls i need to make a video that lasts btw 2 to 5 minutes. Pls can anyone help me with any simple video making software that can be easily downloaded and installed on a P4 computer?

Try Window Movie Maker.

It should come bundled with your windows o.s., but if not - you can download it.

There is a bunch of free editors you can download.
Your choice will be determined from what feaures your editor needs to have.

thanks bro. I actually downloaded camtasia studio (249 MB). But i couldn't instal it on my P4 desktop. I got this msg: "This installation package cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service. Then it's not about your processor, but your O.S. I think you need at least Windows 7.

I think it can. You'll have to try it to know for sure.

@tonytony208 Check that error message again where it says "You must install a Windows service pack", the version of the required windows service pack should be mentioned there, check it very well. Once you have the version of the windows service pack that is required, go ahead to Google and search for it, then download it and install it. You can then install the Camtasia.
